Agreed, there is some brand lunacy for sure, its like they think SONY is apart of their family and not a business at the end of the day. I love my PS3 I play uncharted 2 like its my last day on earth but I do ask if you want to store my personal info, you keep it safe, otherwise, dont store it. Ill take my PS1 back, never had this problem and had lots of games and it was a blast.

I think this sends a bigger signal - I am a IT Director and I discussed this at a conference, the problem I see in general is this all comes down to cloud computing in the end, which I am for and against because you are relying on someone to keep your info, now if they get hacked or its an inside job you as an end user dont have enough to protect yourself. We already see this in online banking, or any site you store credit card info on (which you should never do)
