Africa? Sounds cool but i cant help but be reminded what happened when capcom decided to make Africa the setting for RE4. Geez some people are so sensitive. It's just a game people. Hopefully the game wont attract the negative attention that one did.
It's hard to muster any sympathy for capcom at this point. I've bought all your fighting games b/c i'm a big fan of the genre, as many others in the fighting game community. We were the niche market that kept the scene alive when it was practically on life support and you still milk us to death with re-releases and dlc.

bestbuy and amazon had it priced at 299 for awhile now. Exaggeration? Ok, maybe so but you have to admit it lacks the basic element of horror that is the meat and potatoes of RE games. I just feel if devs want to try something different then just go all the way with a new IP or at the very least do a spin off RE game and call it anything but RE5.

After the abomination that was RE5 (thank god i only paid $20 dollars on a black friday special), I think i'll step away from this series until Capcom gets their act together.

already own and beaten both. best mechanical game ever imo. I think kojima is using this hd collection to gauge interest in making a third sequel. if so then I'll do my part and get it day one. I know a lot of gamers will disagree with me but I think it'd be nice if kojima did something outside of MG this gen.
If kinect isnt for the "hardcore" then why do they keep trying to shoe horn kinect functionality into games that arent for casual gamers?? I still remember how goofy that guy looked at E3 trying to play a FPS with kinect.
Name change is definitely a good idea. I remember during E3 when they announced it. I thought it was just a fancy controller that worked with the Wii and not a new system. And i wasnt the only one, many gamers who keep up with scene were as well. So I can only imagine the confusion parents will suffer when their 8 year old tell them they want a WiiU.

Seeing how square enix or square or whatever they're calling themselves these days cant make a decent game, I'd say yes b/c that's the only way they're gonna get my money after the whole FF13 fiasco. To be honest with you, I'm a little concerned they'd just drive the game into the ground like what they've done with the franchise.

I was more of an alpha 2 guy myself. I gave up on III after second impact but i'll be giving OE a try though. I was also a really big fan of the EX series as well but we all know that was the unloved step child of the SF family. Shame really b/c it was a great game.
