Clarify "better" to me because I like that The Order has a distinctive look for every location in the game. Grit and atmosphere is often better than bright and colorful imo ;-)
I agree. And those who were reliant on shields before will have to get used to dodging and striking tactically in Bloodborne to be able to survive. It's going to be awesome!
It sounds like what he wants is invisible walls to prevent from falling ;-)
I've sunk hundreds upon hundreds of hours into the Souls games and never earned a platinum :-( Though I never focused on trying to. Perhaps Bloodborne will be the one I manage to do it on :-D Can't wait to get lost in it!
I'd gladly pay $80 again and again for this fantastic gaming experience. Won't ever pay a penny for Evolve though ;-) Give me an incredible story driven highly cinematic game any day.
Black bars are far from an "issue". Personally I like the effect it gave for the experience. I'm sure you haven't played it though. It's okay.
This is THE game on PS4 to own in 2015 over all others imo. Can't wait to get lost in the world of Bloodborne.
Great news and congratulations to Sony and Ready At Dawn. I feel like this first game has made a great foundation for a potentially huge new franchise.
If The Order had tacked on MP, then many reviewers would give it a 9+/10... Sad state of gaming "journalism" in these times.
I absolutely love it. So much care and attention to detail has been put into this game, that is unmatched by any other game I've EVER played, and that says something. People can complain about this and that and whatever, but to me the game is incredible.
Going to be an amazing game, no doubts. The atmosphere and style are perfect. Looks quite challenging too, especially when you get overrun by enemies. I can't wait to play it!
Haze was cross-platform...
I'm not because I don't base my preferential gaming experiences on review scores. I'm happy that not every game is the same, and that a few amazing AAA developers/publishers continue to take risks at the cost of their game not being appealing to everyone.
Still my most anticipated game of the year right now next to U4 and The Witcher 3. Can't f'n wait to play this!
I agree. It's not so much the final score a game receives for me as much as if the review is insightful, unbiased and informative.
I knew the reviews would be all over the place for The Order and I'm perfectly fine with that. For me it looks like an experience I want to play though on day one, but I can understand for others why it may not be the same. I hope to see this become on PS4 what the Uncharted series was on PS3, and I can't wait to play it tomorrow.
Then wait till it goes down to $40. I'll buy it at launch because I want to. Same with any game.
Wonder what it even fixed, if anything.
I agree. Remember, these are the same guys who made NFS Shift...
This game literally looks PERFECT to me, I'm loving absolutely everything about it. Can't f'n wait till it releases.
Numbers numbers numbers blah blah blah. What you see on screen to get there on the X1 shows they had to make major sacrifices to game tech and visuals to reach that number. Smh, you Xbone fanboys just get funnier and funnier. Personally I'd rather not play a last-gen quality game at 60fps, and instead play a true current-gen game at a locked 30fps. Are you loving your inferior version of multi-plats btw? The jealousy of not having games that look like Driveclub and The Order for example i...
