Beyond Thunderdome is the movie nobody wanted, and what's worse is it was part of the original trilogy. Fury Road was/is incredible.
If you can run it that fast without lowering graphics settings. ;-)
Keep telling yourself that bro ;-)
Texture resolution is far from the only thing that defines visuals in a game just so you know.
Agreed. Even though things possible on PC may be more "advanced" in certain respects than their console counterpart, what we've seen achieved on PS4 so far have been nothing short of amazing imo. CDPR have done a fantastic job. And it's not just the visuals that make TW3 a true next-gen either. Very exciting.
These are the kinds of incredible games we should be expecting, nay demanding with development moving to current-gen hardware only from third-party developers. Not only that, it shows when devs are focused on making the best game they possibly can, and you can see that in every aspect of The Witcher 3. It looks awesome on so many levels. I can't wait to get lost in this fantastic world we've been blessed with by CDProjectRed. A definite GOTY contender.
Bloodborne is tiding me over till The Witcher release just fine.
@inveni0
Imo the physics look terrible... I've seen more than a few instances of that in different videos... And honestly I was expecting more from the visuals. But I guess that's something that has to be sacrificed sometimes if you go for 60fps on particular hardware, especially if you don't know how to utilize the hardware as well as a 1st party developer. Anyway, I'll probably be skipping out on this for now, not my thing it seems. And besides, The Witcher ...
I love how shrouded in mystery Miyazaki games are.
@Crimson
RaD delivered on what they set out to do which was to create the most detail rich TPS game ever. They've set up a solid foundation in a brand new universe full of possibility, and I can't wait to see where they take it next.
Okay seriously, check out 0:33 and honestly disagree with me. Smh.
Wooow, the physics look like complete poop... Seems like quite a clunky mess to me. I'll just keep playing Driveclub until a new GT comes out on PS4.
Except that changing the graphical effects in this game have no effect on performance because the game runs at 60fps either way. It just comes down to personal preference for what you feel is best as far as the overall look of the game, and if any effects in your opinion are bothering you while racing.
The loading times are apparently cut in less than half confirmed by early users who downloaded this patch.
Hmm, is anyone else getting the feeling that it looks stiff and a bit boring? Not trolling, just was hoping to be excited for it and that doesn't seem to be the case after seeing that footage. Mad Max Fury Road on the other hand :-D
This could end up being quite a game considering who's behind it. I'll be keeping my eyes open.
Been wanting new info on this since it's teaser trailer. Can't wait to play it, looks awesome.
Your loss.
They do. Any filter can be added or removed and used during normal gameplay.
Awesome. So happy there seems to be more suspense/horror games this gen. Loved Amnesia on PC.
