Some other developers could use some "magic beans" after certain releases last year ;-)
They need to get that guy a PS4 along with TLoU! It sucked seeing him have to stop at the end haha.
Tools, techniques, etc. always improve over a console lifespan. Take last-gen for instance and compare the first Uncharted to The Last of Us ;-)
@Wizard
Oh, you're still here? Hmm, you must feel pretty threatened that The Order looks more amazing than anything you've played on your precious PC for the last few years huh?
One thing that was so genius to me about Dark Souls was how every area connected to the others. I hope the Bloodborne world is the same. Can't wait!
Think of it as taking a 120° panorama picture with your phone or camera. The bars are there to push the picture on screen wider on the sides and still be able to fit properly on your display.
What I mean is what isn't being rendered in height in being rendered in perceived width. Yes, the picture is "smaller" as far as total screen coverage, but it gives you a completely different FOV.
I personally can't wait to play it, as it looks abs...

Beautiful Visuals =/= Bad Gameplay (FYI)
Ryse had bad gameplay. The Order has intriguing gameplay to say the least, along with even better visuals ;-)
If a game on the opossing platform of choice has amazing graphics AND amazing gameplay, trolls will still say that the gameplay is bad even though it's not, simply because the game is stunning to look at. Jealousy at its finest ;-)
They did screw up the recent Dark Souls II comparison video pretty bad though. I'm curious as to how old the build is from the new Bloodborne footage though, and how the final build will look. Can't freakin' wait.
I can't wait to witness the sheer epic-ness that will be a new God of War on PS4. As for now, Bloodborne is my absolute most anticipated game this year, though there is an abundance of greatness to enjoy on PS4 coming up soon, beginning with The Order.
Hmm, didn't know that Gears of War was revolutionary in any way, shape or form. Bravo.
That's what I've been saying for a while. Can't wait to experience it when it launches, and can't wait to see where it goes in the future.
What an awful 'comparison' haha. You guys are trying way too hard due to your pathetic jealousy to try and bring down The Order it's ridiculous lol. It's the most impressive looking game visually we've ever had the pleasure of laying our eyes on, deal with it.
Do people not understand that what isn't being rendered in height by the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen ARE being rendered in gained width of the picture on screen? Smh, some people just don't get it.
The is rendering in width what it isn't in height, so your argument is void. Good try though, the game looks incredible.
So...Hard...Not...To...Watch!
That's why informed, smart gamers only buy them once in a while. Let's take AC for example. I skipped AC1, bought AC2, and then didn't buy another one until AC:BF, then skipped AC:U for obvious reasons. It simply comes down to making wise decisions with how to spend your money, and supporting hard-working developers who care about making content rich, unique and creative games for us to enjoy.
Oh man, that'd be sweet indeed. So excited to play Bloodborne though.
That's because they reworked animations and things like that. It's not just a purely resolution bump or increase in framerate.
Gosh this game is just jaw-dropping.
