I am starting to be under the impression that the only ones screaming XIII was a good game are the 360 buyers who were just happy that they got to play it at all on their system. They want to concrete the idea that it wasn't a total bust because if it was that makes it more likely for them to get more entries of the series.

Hit it right on the nose. Obviously these people are fairly out of touch with what the normal ESRB retailing prices are on these things. They are ALL expensive but the Vita Memory Cards are priced right alongside the produos. They are not more expensive. I remember I paid 70 for my 8gb for PSP and that was when it was on SALE just a year ago.

-Firstly they are what are bringing down sales of the Vita so much(although its not doing bad really). Basically they are trying to speak this "mobiles are taking over the gaming market" bullshit into fruition. I really could care less about these two characters(a tad interested for megaman). As long as I can have my Lili+Asuka tag team duo of death I will be just fine.
The PS3 version is not broken. It has a few bugs, as do all Bethesda games. I have it on PS3 and my roommate had it on 360. He suffered similar frame drop rate after playing for an extended period just like I did. Its not really game breaking anyway, at least not for EVERYONE. My Skyrim is still totally playable.
why is everyone actiong surprised by the memcards??!?!?! The PSP ALSO made you get a memory card seperate at launch. And not all games require a memory card just some. and if you just want to be able to play games its only an additional $20 for a 4GB. Stop crying. JebusChrist!
We all knew it didn't have on board memory, they told us so eons ago. The memory sticks are also perfectly priced seeing as they are actually the same(and cheaper in some cases) than pro duo NAME BR...

Will be getting 3G Vita(maybe) with Gravity Rush, DD Uncharted:GA(if its cheaper than retail), SuperStardust Delta, and Escape Plan.
Can't wait for this game. A First day buy for me and my Vita, just as P3 and P4 were. Long live teenage angst and mythical alter personalities :)
I hate their video player as well. Why the hell does it take so long to load and why does it delete all buffered progress if you try to skip???? Annoying.
Anyway, the video was actually really awesome, had yet to see the trailer that plays after the demo. This game has me so pumped for getting my Vita! :)

for the simple reason they want to get the head start on Sony for nxt gen. The same reason they revealed first last time.
Mainly Sony wants to hold their cards last(not release last tho) is because they need to not steer media attention from what they are doing with PS3 and soon PSVita.
Weren't the PS3 and Xbox360 first revealed to be in the works 2.5 years before release? I remember when they started their "spec" war around that time, creating an arms race between which would be stronger.

Sony is still recovering from losing productivity of their factories due to the earthquake/tsunami. They have said this is the reason they didn't just do a simil launch in all territories. They would not have been able to make enough.
Also what seems to be being omitted here is how much each VERSION has sold. Its like 300k is Wifi and the other 200k is 3G. We all know the demand for the 3G version is not yet as appealing as the Wifi versi...

How is needing a memory stick for "some" games any different than needing an extra controller for "some" games? If you don't want to get a memory stick don't get one but as with most accessories, it will limit which games you will be able to fully enjoy. That is why accessories exist in the first place.

The most important tidbit of this video is that it will be releasing this Spring!!!! At least for Japan that is. Maybe that means we can expect a Fall release possibly for america(most of dub is already done except for some added scenes and anime).
FF may not have ever been totally exclusive to any console but it has never been Multiplatform trash either. To each his own is right, because FFXIII and VIII are about on par for me.
The combat was very much broken in VIII and if you were willing to spend hours of boring "Draw" system you would have a unbeatable party in no time. Squall also NEVER misses his attacks which was a little unleveled. GF charges were stupid as was most GF's purposes at all minus their junctioning functions. Story was lupe warm where it was great....all the way to the point where they left ...
Ive never heard about them having expiration dates. If so that is pretty shitty. In general I don't find any fault with online passes when it doesn't offect those who PAY the company that made the game (instead of filling Gamestop's pockets multiple times over). I admit I buy used games because well....they are cheaper, end of story.
Yet I will not fault Devs for combating it in whichever way they can. The only real effect I think this has is video game sell life...
