Well said, and Bubbles for you sir as MM are amazing.
I was a bit skeptical in the begining, it was always going to be an uphill battle for the creators of LBP to out do themselves. Yet they surprised me with something cool and unique. I love it.
Oh and this should shut up a few of the haters. The ones who keep saying Sony has to have their big AAA devs working on Vita titles and stop pushing them onto their smaller devs. Now they have.
This just cemented my purchase of PASBR and Sly 4. now that I basically will be getting 2 games for the price of one and all. FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and oh yea, SPIKE!!!!! So excited to hear they have him. I wanna use all his gadgets from the first game. Toy car, Helo Paddle, Stun club, sling shot. He is gonna be BOSS!
I remember this when It was just called Mars. The mechanics always sounded kinda interesting, it felt like a smaller scale fallout really. This was revealed years ago, good to see it is actually coming to fruition.
Was very much interested in this when it was rumored to be an Action RPG, SciFi World, and PS3 exclusive. Now it sounds like it has been put through the ringer to appeal to more audiences. :/
Will wait to see these trailers before I decide whether I fully care or not.
Edit: Just saw the 7min trailer. Not bad, not bad. Still was hoping for it to stay an RPG tho. It does take some very cool elements from Heavy Rain,Uncharted, Assassin's Creed
I always thought Resistance was a brilliant series as well. I love the mix of old horror movie and scifi shooter. I just wish they could just nail down what they want to do with the series.
-I wasn't a fan of losing Hale. And replacing him with my LEAST liked ally from R2 was heart breaking :(
-LOVED the coop in R2 and pissed me off they removed it. I barely played competitive in R2, just the Coop.
-Retribution was a good portable but limited by the PSP's power...
This is BS if true! We were told late October sometime :(
I want this game so badly and the wait has been painful enough without all these delays. They can't keep pushing back one of if not THE most important release for the Vita this year. FIX IT SONY!!!!
I adore this series and will be picking up this gem DAY ONE!!!!!!!! I don't even care how broke I am, I think I would rather be homeless then go through an extra day without P4:The Golden in my Vita. I wish they would actually elaborate more on what has been added for those who haven't heard....
-Loads of New Alternate Costumes
-New Field Trips added to the story
-New Dungeon
-New Secret Boss
-Tweaks to certain mechanics.
-Can travel at ...
I agree with ScubbaSteve.
Many Developers were taking the infamous moneyhats from MS to withhold any JRPG from hitting the PS3. MS new that was a PS2 strong point and hit the system where it would hurt most.
Although its not all their fault. Sony bumbled too because the fact the PS3 was so hard to dev for early on hindered the Japanese Developers. JDevs are not known for savy technique usually and they felt they could not compete with what Western Devs were pushing ou...
No, it doesn't. If you buy a Vita(or any game or device for that matter) at full price, when you sell it your best bet is only about 60% of it's original value. So at $250 you might get back about $140 or so. It drops price later on, to what? $199? So you take that 140 u got back and add another 50 bones.
Buying, selling, only to buy again is retarded. You are losing money. How about just keep it till the dry spell is over(which to be honest the Vita has plenty of gre...
I have to agree as much as I hate it. Japan is a bit fanatical when it comes to picking a proper console for their games. It seems many Japanese companies take the fact that one console obviously holds more fanbase for them very lightly.
I understand if a game has low sales to go multiplatform, what I don't understand is why you would put it exclusive to a foreign fanbase? With no real advancement that would make it required to be so? Case in Point....

@poolsharky
anyone who says the game can be beaten on autopilot just proves they never got very far in the game. after the 25% mark the game starts to get very demanding. It becomes impossible to equip all the gambits you will need to survive and one of the biggest obstacles is that CPU control has lag. Quite often you will need a Cure spell YESTERDAY and will need to switch on the fly to make it happen.
In all honesty, XII has one of the strongest battle systems in t...
Its actually a pretty smart(yet calculated move) right now. I find it a bit funny that they decide to give us trophies after recent studies that say that most PS3 players will not play a game without trophies and they would buy a game again simply for trophies.
They know this game was at the top of the list and they will squeeze a few extra thousand from those who sold it and will buy it back now.
I don't care what there reasoning for it now really is though. Ju...
The only thing XIII-2 did was ruin the few small fragments of XIII's story that were actually good by shoehorning a completely fabricated plot line simply to make a sequel. What happened to the story that centered around humans struggling against the will of the gods that they have forced upon them?
Uhg, I bought FFXIII-2 on a sale and while the battle system is definitely improved in some parts, it just creates new short comings. Yes, now you can switch between party member...
Hey, I know you :) lol
@Nukeitall
I think you might be mistaken. You make it sound like Xbox360 never slashed price while PS3 was when in fact, PS3 has only done about 3 price drops/remodels/bundle packs and 360 has done about a dozen pricedrops/dif bundle packaging.
360 has remained about $50 less than PS3 every step of the way except in 2010 I believe where The PS3 and 360 were the same price for a while(with PS3 handedly outselling it).
Even now the cheapest Brand...
It is a Full Featured Strategy RPG title for Download on the PS3. It has just as many features as your typical full priced SRPG you would buy elsewhere but for $15. It will even have a Platinum Trophy(most DL Games on PSN lack one)
It is definitely my greatest game of all time. Loved almost everything about that game.
Were there other great games before and after it? Sure
Yet will there ever be a game that will remain so relavent and keep people talking even after all this time? Probably not to FFVII's extent.
I think that awards this game the title.
Its baffling Konami thinks they can charge full price for 2/3rds of the product. Peace Walker and my love of MG3 were the only reasons I was even interested.
I love VC a LOT but I kinda think it's Sega's fault. VC came out right AFTER the official date of Trophy Support and If they had just added in a key feature that was suppose to be mandatory than it could have sold even MORE.
I bought the game, cherrished it, but always resented the fact it lacked them and so I eventually sold it. Like I said in my above comment, I would rebuy it today if it had trophies.
It is actually looking pretty sweet. I don't know which games to get now, there are too many all coming relatively soon.
-Persona 4:The Golden
-Smart As
-Assassin's Creed III: Liberation
-Sly 4 with Cross Pay
-PASBR with Cross Pay
-LBP PSVita
Loving being a Vita owner.
