What an absolute loads of tosh. DDR3 vs GDDR5 is massive. Plus X1 is only using 6 out of 8 cores and only having 5gb of ram free. This is not even close to comparable.
They just dont want to upset the people that would buy the game for the X1.
Linus did a test showing the different just between speeds of ddr3 let alone gddr5 and they got over about 10fps difference just on that alone.

I am a massive insomniac fan and I am pissed they went and sucked up to Xbox. Resist stance 3 was great. Did they not notice that no devs have done well going over to Xbox.
Sony used ps4 dev kits. Microsoft used high end gaming PC rigs. There is a huge difference. Those cards use gddr5 which the Xbox doesn't even have.

I wonder weather they threw Microsoft under the bus on purpose. Imagine how much money they would save not having to code for two systems. The financial cost is huge probably. EA tried to do it with Sony's PS3 but failed because of the fan base size in the end. I wonder if they concocted this to get rid of the xbox brand anyway if Microsoft tryed to may bully EA to much.

@dtg you are bang on the money. Word of mouth around my area in the uk is that no one will touch it. I have come across a few people that were going to get it but they didn't know about all the restrictions. They are no longer are buying them and they are also telling everyone else. Its going round like wild fire at the moment not to buy the new xbox.
By the end of the year I think those pre orders are going to diminish.

You are bang on right. All they did was swap out the hand gestures for QTE event and make you able to move your character around with the joy pad. This game will get crap reviews when its release with comments of just on rail with lots of QTE.
Totally agree. I have PS+ but dissapointed with this as there should still be a basic online no matter what. PS+ should have been used for all the extras
