Actually you can by the game from the high street store and put it in the PS4. No need to download it.
Microsoft is not good competition that is the problem.
Actually I don't think you need competition if there is a company that supplies and listens to their consumers.
Me personally I don't like Microsoft in the games industry as we would be left with generic cra force fed to us. It would have better co petition if it was Sega or Atari.
I hope the ps4 sells so well no one bothers with the Xbox so we get all gamers on one system and developer concentrating on one system and not spread across multiple.

You are pretty much right Gribbble. Microsoft payed GAME to have their product at the front of the store. They have done the same again. The stores I have gone past all promote X1 nothing about the PS4.
I don't know anyone that buys from these places any more. So annoying when staff have no clue about tech they are trying to sell you.

This is exactly what I am hearing some have heard of the 180 some have not. But its pretty much every one knows the ps4 is more powerful by a big margin so they are going that route.
The biggest mention is always about the ram and GPU. The first quote my friends say is if current PC GPUs come with gddr5 why would you buy an xbox1 that only has ddr3. Plus all the extra shaders, rops and flops it has.
Most friends have PCs so they always take this into account ...

It is not suddenly going to change when "general public" start purchasing. You do know why so many people bout the Xbox because everyone else had bought them and their mates had it. The general public go by options from friends and price. If the polls and pre orders are correct you will see a huge drive for ps4 which can cause most general public to purchase it. Please stop taking about cloud computing you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about.
If a game is online only then they can use distributed computing (cloud) for stuff like ai as the worlds run server side like every fucking mmo that has been around for the last 15 year. You will not be getting cloud doing back end physics as this still has to be done locally to be displayed on screen in real time.

Stop bringing up saying we are happy to pay for multiplayer most people still don't like the fact they put it into PS+. The difference is some of us pay for plus already and we get a good deal so are not that bothered. I can back it up quite easily. Since there reveal they did nothing. E3 they did nothing. Yet when per orders where available they got absolutely hammered what other proof do you need.
They changed their mind because they could not compete. Retailers, devs and publishers will all fall in line where the consumer purchases not the other way round.
