Best dew fueled game? pffft. lets see 4 catagories for shooters*cmon what else is going to win a multiplayer game* and 1 for action/platformers?
there were some solid catagories, and Bioshock deserved its awards but still, makes you wonder if Spike tv can do anything right....might as well have put Sarash Silverman and Carlos Mencia on the show cuase they are so "funny"
Not saying I dont believe you allaroundgamer, but if your a hardcore gamer like you say, why play a game on normal?
I play every game I get on hardest difficulty from the get go, because I dont like replaying it through again to get bonus content and I want to get every bit of intensity out of the game as I can. Granted I haven't played through Uncharted on hard I was playing on a friends PS3 and he was on the easy difficulty and breezing threw the game seemed inevitable...

yup, it was disapointing, just watch Dante lazily finish opponents and action sequences that takes up a fraction of each episode. Everything else was lazy Dante and annoying little girl. DMC2 was better.....*shudders*
I couldn't play through the first five minutes of the game, sadly I had hope for he title. I suppose I could buy into the "which version is better" nonsense but.....

If anything their Ninja Gaiden 2 comments seemed to be the more interesting topic of conversation! Probably resulting in Itagaki acting cool with his sword and saying capcom sucks xD

christ, the PS3 had its issues but so has every console, if your riding the negative press at SONY garnered at this point your not a journalist, Your a fanboy with a glorified myspace.
the score buiz concerning R&C and Uncharted is nonesense, I wont even read that part of the article. but PS3 owners do need to buy more games...
oh well, Sony still moved consoles even when the media tried to kill the PS3 with ridiculous amounts of negetive press, a high price tag and a competitor with a good library of games and a years head start, and the WII which...well sells like crazy no matter what. so I say kudos sony. heres to 08

on a side note, they said first place will blow your mind? why? COD4 rocked most every other console game this year at least as far as visuals go, plus the great gameplay and sweet multiplayer...
good comment POG, thats all there was to it, the PS3 version is farther along with they build they played on, and chances are they have a better build of the 360 version working its just no one has played it yet. Even still they said both versions look good. the controller business is preference, but a PS2 DMC player will more then likely be better off with the PS3 version, thats just how it works.

well guys it was dev'd on the PS3 so it should look better on it.....but Im still suprised 1up is being so PS3 friendly lately.

impossible, most everyone on this site is biased to some degree, I love uncharted but I admit Im a sony fan, so I dont know how an independent party could look at that game and really judge it.
but from the looks of that list theres 2 entry's that shouldnt be GOTY. assassins creed and mass effect may be great games, but they are glitchy, IMO that should take a title right out of the running becuase its unfinished. but Im thinking Bioshock will win it simply becuase of its great...
