except they cant do anything about it, epic distributed the unreal map editor and basicly gave away MS trump card. becuase EPIC wont be responsible for user created content, I.E. copywritten characters, offesive content and whatnot.
now granted, the users may be held responsible and be forced to take it down, that is after its downloaded 50 or 60 times and then rehosted by someone else. it is teh internet, its just a matter of time before you see Master Cheif, Snake, Marcus Fen...

the only thing I've noticed is texture pops just when the level loads and then its smooth from there on out. they need to get the lagging issues online worked out though.
playing campaign with my buddies we didnt have a hitch of lag, but I play a deathmatch and everybody was lagging *even myself to an extent*
edit: I installed the game last night after I finished playing, so I dont know if that will help yet, have t wait until I can play again.

Loving UT3 so far, me and two other buddies have been playing threw the campaign, so there is up to four player co-op online.....its just well... UT3's campaign is like MP anyway. still a nice touch though. and the game is beautiful, the levels are, at times, breath takingly detailed
great mods take anyway, the only one I've seen Im itching to try was an Alien skin. you know the hr giger one? the hilarious possibility's are endless. other then that everything looks very w.i.p.
beside I still want to play threw the built in mp maps first.
they gave it a 9.7 in multiplayer, and thats where UT3 lives. why are people complaining?
UT rock's, its fragging goodness and now it has hover boards, giant spider mechs and uber tanks.

my hearing isnt great, so I doubt I could actually tell the difference. With all the noise people deal with everyday our hearing has to be degrading faster then ever, so I wouldnt be suprised if I was in the majority.

Well you have a point, the "true" Unreal Experiance is on PC, but I cant use my PC for gaming, it chugs along becuase I use it for work, maybe after I get I get a newMac I will get into PC gaming, Now when the 360 version comes out Im sure it will run at the same speed as the PS3 versio...
maybe epic wiill free up the PC servers, send out a patch reduceing the gameplay speed so they can play against the PS3 crowd add a new server set or whatnot. at least this way they are not sitting in a lobby....
