Bungie relied on a Halo title on their box, they were never a note-worthy developer. This will just expose how poorly they are at creating quality games.

The games themselves were always pretty bad. I'm glad Bungie can flex their muscle with a title that can sell based on solid mechanics, and not because there just wasn't any competition on the platform their game is on like has been the case for them until now.
I see this as another step closer to digital distribution.
Eventually they would have to figure out a way to replace the game manual. Think of all the legal stuff they hide in there, or all the basic tutorials and guidelines for new users. In a digital distribution era, this stuff will have to be made available digitally (surprise!).

Well Rising isn't really a Metal Gear. It's a spinoff of an unpopular character in the Metal Gear series.
Kojima has very limited to no involvement with Rising and has taken every opportunity to diss the project. If Kojima isn't onboard, it's not even worthy of a spinoff, you are looking at a different game under the disguise of a game title.

The date it was taken isn't very relevant, these screens show very obviously that they are photoshopping their released images.
There is about a 0.01% chance those two screenshots were captured with every element on screen in the exact precise position and at the exact precise time.
Adding the HUD over the image and re-releasing it is obvious tampering. What are they hiding? Quite obviously a very low resolution covered up poorly with the most blur ever seen in a gam...
