A year head-start can't help too much, when you have no games.
This is nothing to be proud of. The 360 is notoriously bad at knowing how to shut itself off before becoming damaged. You don't have to look further than the RROD (largest failure rate in electronics history without a recall) to see that. Heck, they even got a Red Ring in the tests...
The problem with the 360 is that it doesn't allow it's heat to escape. Granted the new ones should be better at this, since it's a ripoff of the PS3 design with a comical amount ...
What does the type of animation have to do with the quality of animations?
Killzone 2 still has the best animations of any game out there, and 3 takes it even further.

The only company that needs to release their next console is Microsoft, since their 360 is dead and they have no games.
The PS3 has a lot of potential left, since it's the most future-proof console around.

It's hard to keep track of 360 "games" since after all the hype, they never deliver and have no lasting appeal.

I don't know why you pretend like games copied Gears, it was never original to begin with. At least make the proper claim that games like Gears copied Kill.Switch.
Heck, even Cliff himself has credited Kill.Switch for being the game that inspired Gears' cover system.

I asked around at least 10 stores, all of them only got 3. They aren't selling well, they just weren't shipped out in huge numbers. I live in a big city, but Future Shop and Best Buy still have them in stock... and they only got 3 to begin with... there is something wrong with this picture....
And the only people I know buying it are already 360 owners who were one of the majority of 360 owners who had their console die, or were just hoping to upgrade. I don't kno...

Gears 3 looks better than Uncharted 2? It doesn't even compare to Uncharted 1. Gears 3 is Gears 1, no difference.
And Crysis 2 and Rage don't even manage to look better than a PRE-ALPHA Killzone 3... so you just disproved the point you were trying to pretend you had.
And heck no does Forza compare to the king of racers. You need an eye test.
The most important thing I took from it was the confirmation that most people were aware of, except our 360 friends, that Rising is not a MGS game, except for the Microsoft paid for title. Kojima made clear it isn't a "solid" game, and now Konami has confirmed it:

The only console capable of pulling off 3D, and yet it still manages to do it with a game that other consoles could never dream about coming close to matching technically.
Killzone 3 is a beast. Pre-Alpha and nothing compares to it. Incredible.

It isn't more reliable. In fact the disc scratching has gotten far worse, enough to warrant a damn sticker on the front of the console.
As for RROD, the problem is still there. They claim it will never RROD, but that's because it will flash Green now when it screws up. GROD is not better than RROD, they are the same thing. It's just PR talk... the system is still a POS.
I guess the 360 fans are no longer crying about not needing WiFi, the shiny black case, or touch sensitive buttons?
Of course this shouldn't surprise anyone. The console was called the "360" because Microsoft and their fans love the spin.
