I agree with all the points, but...
I'm a little leary about putting any credence in that 2 year launch window. The last time Polyphony Digital moved to a new console it took 6 years to develop the game.
That's a long time to wait, especially while players on another console would end up enjoying higher rated racing games every 2 years.

There is a questionable assumption in this comparison.
That being the perception of single platform reviewers.
Specifically, a PS4 reviewer could be more critical of a 3rd per adventure game as he is accustomed to highly rated games like TLOU or UC. This could lead to a lower reviewed score for a multiplatform 3rd person adventure game, based on his perspective.

Sounds (and looks) like a lot of effort went into getting this game just right.

Well, the PS4 was suppose to be sold with the PS Camera
Ergo the light on the front of the controller
When Sony decided to cut the Camera to obtain a lower price, some of the main features became superfluous.
A very limited number of games use the light now.
