We'll never see a quality Conker/BK game again.. at least not on Wii U, probably not on MS's consoles either. And for that matter, probably not even similar games.
Heh this is why i always stick to PC, gonna build myself a powerful x99 Intel 6/8 coresetup under finance when they come out in a few months and a r9 290 gfx card. 1080p and 60/120fps for sure.
Not everyone likes Pokemon or the way it plays, i just want a new Conker or BK game.. but probably never gonna happen on Wii U. If only they could buy them back.
A new starfox, similar to the 64 one but with many more levels and a harder difficulty would be awesome too.
Buy back Rare to make real games again like they used to..
The range is poor on the gamepad even in my next room, but all i had to do was plug in the system at the end of my bed and i could use the gamepad wirelessly fine in the same room as the system. So yes, it is pretty good.
I want a new Conker game.. hardly a kids game, and i don't see any games like that on Wii U.. :/
bah why can't Rare just go back to Nintendo
if you've even bothered to read up on the engine, you should know development supposedly started in late 2010, these images are from 2011..
I would imagine it's not even half finished if they did this in less than a year after they started work on it..
It does look good, but it's hard to tell how well textures have improved with the image compression. I thought they only started working on Source 2 in late 2010? But the leaked pictures are from 2011? They either got some work done fast or have been working on it before 2010..
I wonder if they will still be using Havok physics, the newer Havok demos on youtube are quite impressive.
I'm just pleased it's going to be a great game either way..
Plus it gives me an excuse to sell off my aging i7 920 processor and gpu and make a bit of cash back towards a new setup.
OMG i hope this is real. I will build a whole new comp around Source 2.. been waiting for this for ages! I also had a feeling they would show off the engine this year, after all it's been in development over 3 years now.
Maybe an upgrade to 8 core Intel x99 platform and R9 290 are in order..
Not really, theres already quite affordable 6 core intel processors, and in less than half a year an 8 core non extreme processor with hyperthreading, 8 real core and 16 threads, 360 only uses a 3 core processor.. a 6-8 core intel would run it no problem. and any new high end graphics card should be more than capable.
Don't forget theres already the R9 290 which has over 2x the power of ps4's gpu already.
I love District 9 too, great film.. tho tbh i would love a Half Life movie much more than a Halo one..
It's not really likely, what with some games on the next gen consoles already being 720p and some 1080p and 30fps..
the rift renders games 2x for the 3D, so beefy hardware will be needed.. even at 720p.
I think so too, Mk8 will boost sales a lot.
I really wish there were some adult games though, i never got to play the original Conker.. and even though it's humor is a bit immature i found some cutscenes on youtube pretty funny.
Too bad there is no Conker or BK, i think a lot of people would buy a Wii U if they had the original Rare team back.
I just want to play something different and fun, there's too many "samey" games t...
There's a lot of stale games releasing, and doing the same thing over and over yet people still buy those particular games.
I personally miss the games Rare used to make on N64.. there's literally no games like they made, being made anymore. Wish Nintendo could get the full Rare team back, a new Conker would be awesome on Wii U.
Agreed, but.. I wish Nintendo could get Rare back, they made some awesome games and the ones they made you just don't see anymore.. they had good humor & were so fun to play..
A lot of games are quite stale and the same thing over and over these days, not like it used to be.
PS4 will obviously have a better frame rate if the cap is 60 since the hardware is better, it's still going to dip below 60 though at points. The question is how low could it dip?
I prefer to play my games silky smooth all the time tbh, but that's why i game on PC.. I usually use a graphics card that some would call overkill, or for me just high end which will sustain 60+fps nearly all the time @ 1080p.
Don't bother trying to reason with this guy, how he still has more than 1 bubble is beyond me.
Framerates are important, this is why many gamers prefer gamng on PC like i do. Large difference between 30fps and 60, and even smoother at 120
