Most stores won't let you return for a full refund just because you don't like the game. They will just let you trade it in.
A lot of digital stores will give a full refund if you don't like it as long as you haven't played more than a couple of hours.

I managed to get one in the initial batch of pre orders. It was supposed to be for me but then my son asked for one for Christmas so I kept that one aside for him. I have never been able to secure another one for myself 😕
Lucky I kept the one I got for him, I was gonna just use it myself fully expecting to be able to get another one for him before Christmas.

I wasn't talking about the game itself. They were just telling a story. I'm talking about game reviewers and commentators. Letting stuff like that guide their opinions on games. Perhaps the game had nothing to do with any political thought, but their own perspective lead them to believe it did, just because they didn't agree.
If you told me to keep my political opinions to myself, on a gaming forum, I'd gladly do so because this isn't the place for it.
People need to stop trying to bring politics into gaming! The game of the year awards are based purely on the game itself, nothing else. Same should go for game reviews, leave your political and social opinions at the door. Play the game, review the game, vote for the game, nothing else.
If you want to broadcast your political and social opinions use the correct platform for that.

I don't really see how it's an issue for a store to take a cut of a sale. That's kinda how shops work, be them brick and mortar or digital 🤔 I know gaming has different margins and shit but I work in retail and I know our margin is waaay higher than 30% same can be said for most retail. No one bitches about that.
You want to sell your goods through a store? Only an insane person would not expect to give them a percentage of the sale.
Same here, I use a controller for pretty much all single player stuff and m&k for online.
Controller just feels more immersive to me, and definitely more comfortable. But you can't argue against m&k for online or for certain genres.
All scalping should be illegal, from consoles and other tech to concert tickets and everything else.
