I like the idea of creating your own Witcher. There are enough side characters and lore to
make to work and still have a great narrative.
Yes 2k5 is my favorite sports title of all time. I loved adding music from my Xbox hard drive into the game and the controls especially on defense were so much more user friendly than in madden.
I want this game to be great, but I’m very afraid it’s gonna be a fallout 76 or an anthem where it’s just not any good. Triple A budget but terrible everything else
So to clarify....the author of this article wants the game to use established storylines while also telling a new story? How does that work?
RDR 2 is in my top 5 all-time without question. I have never cared more for a character than I do Arthur Morgan. I think he’s 100 times better than marsten even though I like him too.
I think that world is the best open world ever made. I couldn’t care less isn’t they forgot about gta and just made red dead games and bully games. I’m not saying GTS 5 isn’t a great game, but the writing Is laughable compared to red dead.
The sequence (no spoilers) toward...
Troll much?
To each his own, but I’d rather look at a link to the last all day long over some of the early ps2 game. Sprite based graphics are still being made today because they’re timeless when done well. You don’t see people today making games that look like ps1, 2, or N64 because that style why necessary to push forward looks awful now compared so the better snes games. I guess it’s just a matter of personal taste.
I will agree that the ps2 did have a very diverse library though. ...
In my opinion, silent hill 1 and 2 are the best horror games ever made. It isn’t even close. I’m not saying silent hill has great combat, but the resident evil tank controls where you have to be standing still to shoot is one of the laziest and nonsensical ways to create tension and stress ever.
I would kill for a remake to the first two silent hill games done well like the resident evil 2 remake. As much as I don’t care for resident evil, that’s how remakes should be done...
to me Snes is still the greatest console ever. Also, graphically that era of games stand up way better than ps2.
In case you don’t understand what I meant, I was defending square on the fact that they’ve said since day one this game is coming in multiple installments. I was AGREEING that the article was nonsensical.
I’m not even a fan of the final fantasy franchise, but I remember square being pretty clear about that.
So, I was very excited for this, but after playing it for several hours, my only feeling was the thought that sleeping dogs is better in every way.
I would argue that the SNES is the best console every made. Obviously, this is a matter of opinion, but this is mine.
I would also say the game cube controller is one of the worst controllers ever. Again, just my opinion.
Umm not saying it would be difficult, I’m saying I don’t think it would be fun. Take Spider-Man for instance, it’s very fun to swing through New York and weave through the skyline, but Superman will just have to fly above all that and i don’t think that would be fun. It wasn’t fun at all in Superman returns in my opinion. My whole point isn’t that flight can’t be don’t, it’s that it’s not fun. Spider-Man and Batman have FUN traversal and I don’t think Superman would be fun. A Superman’s game...
I would prefer TMNT or Green Arrow (not the show version)
I’m not trying to be argumentative, but Batman’s glide is not “faster than a speeding bullet.”
The flight in the Superman game you’re talking about was not good in my opinion. It felt like time was slow to give the illusion that Superman was moving fast. I mean Superman routinely flies to outer space in a split second there’s no way to make the world big enough in scope to give it that feeling of speed. Also you’d have to be flying above all the buildings so that you don’t run into them. It’s not like Spider-Man where you have that freedom of movement.
I understand why people want a Superman, but I don’t the think people factor in the logistics of it. It’s much more difficult to make a Superman game than a Batman or even a Spider-Man game.
Flight is very difficult to get right on a physics level. Also, unless the story involves Superman not having all of his powers it just doesn’t make sense that he would have any trouble fighting low level enemies.
Despite would people say I don’t think rocksteady ha...
I didn’t say the game couldn’t be difficult, I said the gameplay was basic. Hitting one button over and over is basic in my opinion.
The great thing about CD is that their writing is so strong, they can pretty much do anything and the quests will be multifaceted and interesting. I think the prequel angle is played out, but I wouldn’t mind a sort of “Old Republic” kind of era.
You could create your Witcher and be young and have to go through the trials and maybe close friends don’t make it through. So many ways to go.
