I agree fun is the point of gaming, but let’s see how much fun you have when you’re getting obliterated by some 11 yr old kid that begged his parents for money to level up quicker. I’m not saying grinding is bad, but when everyone doesn’t have to grind it just becomes less fun.
I blame the consumer for this one. EA is a business and businesses exist to make money. I hate the pay to win loot box fiasco, but people buying it means it will continue. Stop buying it or stop complaining.

I completely disagree with this. The changes that were made are changes that were needed. The combat is better, the world is more interesting, the story isn’t better, the characters are better. I think this game reinvigorated the franchise and I applaud it. In my opinion this goes with black flag, and ac 2 as the best games in the series.

I’m not saying that the first game will be marred by a sequel, but I just think that game stood on its own. It was one of the games that crossed from video game to art to a lot of people. The pacing was perfect. I have no vested interest in naughty dog or PlayStation as I’m an Xbox fan, but that first game was as close to perfect as any game in the past 10 years. I just hate to see it get watered down.
I love that basically hours after removing the microtransactions they’re already plotting to bring them back. EA is easily the worse publisher in the industry. Ill never spend another dime on them.
