DMC sucks.........says no review on the internet. Bought it today....purely epic.
Moving on though. As far as MGSR goes, the one thing that's crapping on this game for me are the controls.
GOD that camera is atrocious...as are the controls. It sucks because the graphics are BEEEAUUUUUTIFUL!!!! Aaaaand, that's where it ends.
Even in the 30's range that's impressive for Japan.
I dunno how much of a good idea that is. I use my PS3 HEAVILY as a media center. My girlfriend bought a PS3 just for the apps, divx/mpeg support and blu-ray.
Phones, tablets, PC's etc....devices are put into the hands of more people when common media outlets are available on them. For someone like me who can't afford cable, basic subscriptions on things like Hulu, Netflix, free Crackle, etc are a god-send.
PLUS having tons of games? I see nothing ...
Ummm....no where?
Third and first party support, a global user base surpassing the 360, tons of games.

Some easy games are fun, some easy games are not
Some difficult games are fun, some difficult games are not.
I could care less whether its easy or difficult. Is the game any GOOD is all I care about.
But.....to each his own.
I don't really think this is what this guy means.
In reality.....there are gamers that DO try to post petitions on government websites because they don't like CHARACTER DESIGNS....(12 [pending for DMC as we speak).
That should quiet down undoubtedly.

I'm gonna have to say NAY on the much improved looks. Every DMC ran at 60fps.
This runs at 30.
The Unreal engine really isn't made for this type of fluidity in a game, plus the clay-like textures of unreal only look good in Gears and Batman: Arkham series.

But at least Square Enix is pushing Western flavor a bit more with titles like Sleeping Dogs and Tomb Raider.
Both great games when it came to character performances.
Sony losing half of their market share doesn't equate to doing poorly. They still managed to outsell it's major competitor this past year. Devs make games for it because they can make money making games on it.
All systems did well. And...every company will have flaws. Still see nothing wrong here.
