Beat the game. I thought it was great, but I didn't think i was perfect either.
Finally...a realistic review.
Considering the list of PS exclusives that have blown me way, it's not on the top of my list either.
I guess I'm the only one who was more impressed by Detroit's graphics than most other games. lol.
Why would you make games tailored for a region that doesn't even buy your console?

Disregard every previous incredible game I've played because GoW was amazing? Na.
GoW was great....but that fixed camera angle hurt the experience for me.
I'd rather be challenged because the enemies are hard, and not because the game forbids me from viewing my surroundings.
The game has glaring issues but this isnt one of them. 😂
Exclusive content is why major networks like Netflix, your cable provider, or Amazon Prime are successful.
If you know you can only get the best experiences from certain services, you have no choice but to buy/subscribe. Sony's PlayStation division understands this business model, and it's why they have a gaming legacy.
Well yeah. The game was mediocre at best (would've definitely done better as episodic content imo)

Some games do that well. Other games do that poorly.
This is a game that does all of those things well.
And a lot more "God of War is overrated" posts.

WB games can pretty much copy and paste their action systems and it almost always works.
Sleeping Dogs had great combat, and the new Spider-Man game looks to have some DMC-ish, air-combo stuff going on as well. The genre is fine and also has plenty of room to grow.
For the finishers yes....all that looks smooth. I Just don't like the animations when he swipes the ax and the hit detection on the enemies.
Whatever though. I'm a whole GoW series in so I don't have much of a choice. Its not like the game may not blow me away but I would've preferred more polish in this regard.
Until the hacking and slashing starts. The animations in this game are the one thing I wish they polished. Oh well....getting it anyway. :-(
Lived thru the entire GoW series and every game, especially from 2 onwards, was praised for its visuals.

Agreed. Thats also my biggest issue with the game....the camera.
