If that's true, I'm OK with that.
TellTale's first walking dead won GOTY everywhere and it was the story that carried it. If the story is the super-duper here, fine. I'm totally OK with the gameplay I saw if it's considered stale. lol
1 new IP doesn't sound right.
I would expect it to be several.
That makes no sense. lol.
I don't own an X, nor will I ever, so I don't follow industry things on it....but I haven't heard anywhere that it's a challenge to develop for.
TLOU is still the only 10 out of 10 for me.
I enjoyed almost every other PS4 and PS3 exclusive over this new God of War... and that includes the old God of Wars which I found to be MUCH better.
As a fighting game enthusiast, that's the biggest problem with the genre. Most of the ideas are stupid.
It literally looks like all the other mobile fighting games that come out though.
How did you miss that? lol
PlayStation exclusives get rated higher than that all the time though.
How is telling the world that they are only going to focus on the biggest titles of the year "dopping the ball"? lol.
"To be honest it's not that impressive considering we have already seen these title in action already."
Well there you have it. Once you see a little bit of gameplay of an upcoming game, any new gameplay isn't impressive. LMAO.
I cant make this stuff up. lol.
Every super hero would literally have to be his or her own genre. lol. Not every character is going to swing from buildings like Spider-Man or fly like Captain Marvel.
Easier said than done.
The least they could do is copy Sony and remaster these games.
But na......let's just play them in their blurry, pixelated, original form. Smh
You make all good points. This game looks like it's slapped up with a lot of what I would enjoy...but the connection to the first game is lost on it.
I mean I'm a God of War fanboy and the game was also "just good" to me.
Most all other Sony exclusives were more enjoyable for me.
Even if I could, the question still begs whether or not the difference matters.
If one looks like a current gen game and the other looks like it was made on Super Nintendo, it matters. But if the difference is how much gleam there is on a single blade of grass, provided I squint my eyes and do a handstand, then I don't see a reason to worry about it.
It's like.....adult, non/kiddy, more grown up art styles are my preference.....but it makes no sense here.
They could've still gone high-budget going a more Ratchet & Clank style and it still would've worked. This looks cool but...it should just be called something else.
That fooking camera
Can the eyes tell the difference? I have to get this on PS4, but I have no way of comparing....or knowing if the difference matters.
Westerns just don't do it for me. :-(
The only thing that looks better about Ryse is the camera. The fact that it was fixed the whole time I played GoW hurt the experience or me.
Strafing Kratos looks kinda silly too. lol.
What's funny is that the tech isn't even what draws me anymore.
Make whatever system Sony....at the end of the day, I need award winning, blockbuster, genre defining titles to play on it. That's all they've done for the past 20+ years and they already announced it's what they'll keep doing.
I haven't gamed on anything else cuz I never had a reason to. lol.
