Great studio, max payne 1 and 2 and some of my fave games ever and i just finisged control again for the second time on ps5 which is anither great game!
Cant wait to see what they are working on next, likely control 2 id say.
The fact there going as low as comparing photo modes which iv never seen them do before just to get ms a win is kinda making it look that they actually are biased buddy.

Its a bit stupid to say a studio is perfect to be making a certain game when this is the first game they are making as the initiative.
There is nothing to make that assumption off.
For example if a metal gear solid remake got annouched and it was bluepoint games making it and i said they are the perfect studio to handle that , then that would atleast make sense given previous history

I think remedy under sony is almost guaranteed success, not so much with xbox.
Off the top of my head i can think of sunset over drive by insomniac games which flopped and quantum break by remedy and MS which flopped, then u got the whole scale bound thing.
Alan wake wasnt bad though but it was no max payne or control.

Why dont u go read ff13 reviews and see how much it was shit on because the first half of the game was all linear, now compare that ff7 which is worse yet nothing gets said infact it gets praised.
Liniarity is not a bad thing but 40 hrs in the same boring looking city and corridors is, atleast the ff other games gave us different locales to look at.

Mate it was succesful because its called ff7, if it was called final fantasy 16 i guarantee u this wouldve been hated and rated as one of the worst ff.

Well it cant be worse than part 1, between the forced slow walking, absolutely linear world, no adventure just left us in stupid midgar for 40 hours, those goddam 59 levels of steps in the shinra HQ, actually be dammed with shinra HQ and its tour.

Thats all well and good but like i said 750 vs north of $4500 for a complete computer with a 3090 in it.
There is no way u can tell me 3090 performace is in anyway worth all that money when u compare performance.
For as powerful as pcs are, games are either poorly optimized or just have consoles to consider so all pc players really get is a fps bumo and a resolution bump neither of which are easily noticeable or transformative.

$3200 in australia for a 3090 card alone yet a 750 XSX can run it no problems.
Totally get it, atleast in regards to survival horror games.
I dont mind horror movies as they dont scare me but something about games and controlling the character, and having limited resources and ways to deal with the enemies always get to me, the only one i played and finished was resident evil 4 which was awesome.
Iv played a lot of the silent hills and resident evils however have never gotten far, i really do like the games just a bit of pansy i gue...
Was hoping them being quiet meant they were working on a next gen veraion of it, a little dissapointed to know that not the case but they are only a team of 20 so i get it. Game looks interesting, hope it does well.
Considering the game was nearly done and only got delayed because of the reaction, i imagine this year will be spent doing major polishing on everything so id say it should look good when it comes out but you never know.
Agreed, i really enjoyed the fallen order however it came to little to late from EA, so im happy ither devs now have an oppurtunity to make stars wars games.

Im totally down for a new IP from remedy though, in saying that due to them being a smaller studio and control kinda popping off id be suprised if they didnt go there again, either way ill be happy
