...My 360 has been perfect from day 1 of launch. Same goes with my cuzins and a few others that own a 360. It's the sony fanboys that make this more than it really is. Did they forget that the ps2 was notorious for being faulty. The infamous "Disc Read Error" was a huge problem with the ps2. I owned 3 faulty ps2s before I finally owned one that lasted longer than 2 years. Than that one broke down too. And the ps2 still did fine. So get off the 360 already.
Dvd rot usually happens when they're near heat like a furnace or if the dvd case is in direct contact with sunlight. But it could be a bad batch. However, AVSforums is thee best Audio Video information site on the web, this could scare away potential buyers and be a problem for bluray owners.
...meaning only fanboys are picking it up. Most likely you'll get a huge decline in sales the following week. European sales plummeted %80 the second week. And back to dismal sales for the ps3.

Playstation 1 was competing against the N64 and the Saturn. The ps3 is competing with the 360. That is a BIG DIFFERENCE!!!! The 360 is just destroying the ps3 in what matters most......HIGH RATED GAMES!!!!! N64 and the Saturn didn't have that. The 360 sales are not declining...actually they have a steady sales rate. While the ps3 sales plummet each month. Europe sales dropped %80 after the first week. That is HORRIBLE!!!

Disc media is about a a few years from being extinct. The future is downloadable movies. The mp3 market has destroyed the CD market. With advances in download and broadband technology, the same will happen with movies. It will be a waste of money to start a hi-def library. Microsoft is on the right track by starting with downloadable hi-def movies.
In NG Black for the Xbox the Samuraii boss chopped off a ninjas head before turning around and seeing Ryu. And Ryu got slashed up pretty bad before it goes into the next level. The CGI scenes looks exactly like the original xbox. The recent reviews have been saying the camera is pretty bad so looks like you dont get the camera of NG Black but the camera of the original. Wow, I'm dissapointed. Looks like we got the better version again! ;)

Well I only put the 360 and the ps3 in the catagory of next gen. The Wii is selling like hotcakes but it offers nothing next gen. So out of the 360 and the ps3 the 360 wins easily. Their really isn't any argument or debating about it. The 360 has more games. The 360 has more AAA titles and highly rated games. The 360 has the better multiplatform games. The 360 has a huge list of exclusives compared to the ps3. And from recent sales reports, it's pretty obvious that people are start...
Wow we're still trying to compare multiplatform games??? It's already been debated many times and the 360 always gets the better version. Rainbow 6: Vegas being the next winner for the 360. All the ps3 has on the 360 is Oblivion. But that game was build from the ground up on the ps3 and it only improves the original by the smallest of margins. Not to mention a 1 minute download would make it equal to the ps3 in graphics. This is old news already.
Or you can just purchase the last great CRT ever made...The 34 widescreen HD sony xbr970!!! You can still find them brand new but they are dissapearing fast! I just recently bought one and if the weight doesn't bother you (200lbs) than this is the perfect set. But I have been looking at newer tech and currently thinking about trying the new 40 inch samsung with the Onkyo 875 AVR dvd player. HQV processing is out of this world. Makes standard dvds look almost hi def.

HAHA, terrible reply. The Saturn and N64 are not in the same class as the 360. Just face it...Sony is in big trouble. Microsoft has Sony by the balls. The 360 has TONS of AAA titles coming out while the ps3 has maybe 1 or 2 this year. Microsoft is making about a $100 profit per each console while the ps3 loses ALOT of money on each console. When the ps3 finally gets a price cutt....the 360 will just lower its price lower. Microsoft has it all covered this gen.
So far the next gen battle of 360 vs. ps3 has been a joke. The 360 is destroying the ps3. No more launch numbers to help out the ps3. The ps3 will never catch up to the 360. By the time MGS4 or FF comes out the battle will be over. It's pretty much official...the 360 wins this generation.
To much emphasis on graphics these days. I'm more interested in AI (Bioshock) or top notch story telling (Mass Effect)
If I remember the original America's Army was free on the PC. No way this game can overtake Halo 3, Unreal, Quake, Rainbow 6, or Graw for online supremacy. Their best bet is to have this title at $20.
