Well GT5, MGS4, Killzone 2, etc...do look nice and looks to use the power of the ps3 but at what cost? 3 plus years of development??? More man power? Spending more money? Well like I said before I don't know much about MGS so from what I seen in the past...it looks kinda silly. Maybe if I played this game back in the NES days than I would have a closer relationship to the franchise but I didn't. I'm sure that is why alot of people will play this game. It's like their baby...Seeing their baby grow up from the NES days to now.

My cousin LOVED MGS2 and made me play it. But I stopped playing it after the first level because I absolutely hate tank controls. That was fine with Resident Evil with the ps1 but not acceptable for the ps2. So I don't know much about the MGS series.
From the recent gameplay videos I seen, the AI is a joke. For example...
1. Snake uses "octocamo?" in the middle of a room and lays on the ground. A soldier walks right next to him and doesn't see him....

Well actually their were no plans to import Oblivion to Japan but their was a huge petition from Japan to bring the game overseas. So their is definitely interest. The game will sell well in Japan but not break records.

Unfortunatly the ps3 does a HORRIBLE job on upconverting standard dvds. So if blu-ray wins the war...I'll be choosing the Samsung 1200 player. HQV technology is a BEAST for standard dvds.
Crackdown is easily a classic game that deserves a sequel. Critics have called it the best superhero game ever made and I have to agree. Jumping from building to building was so satisfying.
This can be a big blow for Sony. There are some people that own both a ps3 and a 360 and will ultimately choose the 360 version for its 60fps and rumble. Yes the controller was an issue in the ps2 vs. xbox days, but not anymore. The 360 controller is perfect for Madden.

...And the AI looks to need some serious work. In the scene where Snake turns on octocamo, he lays right on in the middle of the floor and the guy walks in and doesn't see him. HAHAHA! That was pretty funny. Than he hides in a barrel and rolls down and takes out two soldiers without them knowing. ...while MGS is fun to some, it does follow the typical arcade formula; cgi scenes, boss battles, silly characters, etc... Splinter Cell brings the realism that these type of games should have. Splinter Cell beats out MGS in my eyes anyday.

The Splinter Cell franchise is legendary...every game rates VERY HIGH on gamerankings. I'm bummed about this being delayed....oh well....more gametime for Halo 3 ;)
