Vgcharts has the ps3 at 9.7 million but Sony just recently released a statement saying they are hoping to reach atleast 9.5 million by March of 2008.

Mass Effect is one of the greatest rpg's ever created and should be experienced by other gamers unfortunate not to own a 360. The bugs in Mass Effect are minor and definitely doesn't ruin the fun. A great sci-fi story with great races and characters. I suggest reading the prequel book made by the actual guy that created the story for Mass Effect.

I don't see jaggies. Maybe if I put my face 2 inches in front of my 42 inch plasma but sitting at a normal distance their are no jaggies.
But what about what matters most and that is software sales. The 360's first year had about 11 million game sellers while the ps3 only has about 3. And of course the 360 destroyed both the ps3 and the wii combined in total software sales in 2007. And that is what matters most. This just adds to the fuel that the ps3 is sold as a bluray player first and a gaming machine last.
If it matches the analog sticks of the original duke than I'm all over it.
Oh yeah it definitely looks like the 360 is going to have the an incredible 2008. This last past week has been non stop great news for us 360 owners. If this rumor is true and comes out in 2008 this will just be another heavy hitter for 2008. Great times are ahead for us 360 guys :)

As you stated you either love it or hate it and as you can see a few haters showed up here. But I think it's more about jealousy than actual hate. Most of the people that complain about Halo 3 probably hasn't even played it.

Alot of people bash Bill Gates and Microsoft for their business practices but as always in todays' society, people think about the negatives. You do know that Bill Gates spends millions of dollars on the poor, environment, education, etc...???
Yeah these games are no secrets. What will be surprising if all these games come out in 2008 but I highly doubt it. Halo: Chronicles at one point was said to be an RPG type game so we'll see. Gears of War 2 and DOA 5 are the only games I see that will come out in 2008. But either way the 360 looks to have an equal if not better line up than the competition with Gears of War 2 leading the charge.

I get the same satisfaction when I get the Overkill award or a Rampage award in Halo 3. I almost got my first invincible award the other day but missed it by 2 kills! :(

Pretty common to hear complaints from Halo 3 players that suck.
I'm pretty sure most people that complain about Halo 3 never even played it. The fact is the COD4 is a fantastic game but to easy to rack up kills. That game is all about camping spots. Halo 3 on the other hand is all about skill and definitely not for the weak. Getting a 50 in Halo 3 takes great skill and great teamwork. Getting a high rank in COD4 takes nothing more than just continuous playing.
Halo 3 is still the best competitive fps. Nothing else comes close. I'll tak...
You know I'm not a fan of the series and really don't care for tv shows made into games but damn those trees and the jungle is easily the best I seen in any game.
Like I said before...many developers are complaining about the ps3 and giving us 360 owners delays or under developed games. If it wasn't for the ps3, I would be playing GTA4 months ago. Thanks alot Sony.
