AND AGAIN Halo is discussed in a ps3 article. That is some serious respect for a game. You'll never hear any talk of MGS in a Halo thread that's for sure.
After seeing the dissapointing screenshots of MGS4 and hearing about GT5p still miles behind Forza 2 in gameplay, I would be a lil worried if I was a ps3 fan. Could it be that the 360 will have a better 2008??? I think so. The 360 has more proven franchises and has a better exclusive track record than Sony. Lair anyone? 2007 was full of Sony exclusives and most of them failed. So why is 2008 going to be any different?

The consumer had no choice but to choose bluray. Like I said, Sony owns most of the movie studios so it was an easy win. Hd-dvd is cheaper to produce and has equal picture quality of bluray and in some cases is better but none of that matters when Sony owns almost every major studio.

I think it's safe to say that the majority of ps3 owners bought it for its bluray ability. I know 3 people in my family that bought a ps3 and use it just for the bluray. I'm looking for a ps3 for my gf who wants bluray with full BC for all the rugrats that bring their ps2 games. The Bestbuys near my house don't even stack the ps3's in the gaming area. You can find them stacked in the home theater area.

I have yet to see a mod worth even trying. Yeah the character mods are cool but pretty much useless. I wonder if anybody is trying to mod entire games with map design and actually be good. Than I'll be jealous.

Higher resolution doesn't necessarily mean better graphics. COD4 runs at around 620p and won best graphics in 2007 by most game sites/mags. Beating out 1080p games like Lair. So your logic is flawed.
Some dude at my work collects old ass games and offered me $300 to buy my Michael Jackson's Moonwalker for the Genesis. 500k is a lil to much for a video game.
Just more talk about the ps3's "potential" I still haven't seen anything special. Even the mighty GT doesn't look that much better than Forza 2. And GT has been in development forever! Enough of the talking.

So the 360 has been out for over 2 years and has been releasing AAA titles and the best games of any system and all of a sudden they punched themselves out of next gen fight? LMAO. Sounds like Sony is starting to sound like most of the sony fanboys in here. The 360 definitely has a lineup that has more than enough to compete with the ps3. The only thing the 360 does not have "next-gen" is bluray which is still the primary reason why the ps3 is selling.
