Another popular Gamer League is "CAL"- Cyberathlete Amateur League. And for Counterstike...they allow 5v5...you rarely see large 20v20 tournaments cuz it has no tactics.

Well with all the videos I seen, sorry, but not impressed. It totally does look like Call of Duty w/ aliens. Oh well, I'm sure it will still be fun but nothing special.

These are the types of games Sony needs to catch up to Microsofts big list of AAA games. This game is fun and my lil cousin LOVED it. I still prefer Microsoft for the better AAA games but Sony does have some good games but nothing is known about them...Next gen God of War??? Next gen Shadow of the Colossus??? These are the type of AAA games Sony needs to start grabbing some attention from real gamers...not fanboys. Ratchet and Clank will be a good one...

I disagree...now yeah it would be nice to have the option...sure...but the real draw in halo 2 is the 4 vs 4. 40 people just encourages campers. Grab the sniper, camp, and kill...easy...boring. It's more exciting when you play a game with less cuz you dont know where they're going to be...when they're going to attack...you have to keep your eyes moving...when you have 40 people, 20 vs 20, you lose all that excitement cuz most likely they're be scattered all over the map. 40 players would just turn into a fragfest and lose it's tactics. Grab the sniper and just camp and rack up the kills. Halo is about 4 vs 4. on beautifully made maps like lockout, midship, or 8 vs 8 on the larger maps Headlong, Waterworks.
You need discs that are digitally remastered from the original source to see an improvement when you upscale a dvd...the difference is noticeable.

Sounds like this guy gets pwned in Halo 2...Haha, only noobs bash on Halo 2. Call of Duty 2 is fun, but the maps are the same ole war torn streets...just like Resistance...Halo 2 has one of the best maps ever made in a FPS...lockout, midship, zanzibar, etc...which makes it very different from other FPS games.

Wow...The CPU is powerful...but to bad that dont meant nothing when the best AAA games and exclusives are on 360!!! Atleast this year and next. It's all about the games anyway...and please dont waste my time listing all the games for both systems. I seen them already and the 360 has better AAA titles...no debate over that!
I'm a big FPS fan so I would probably play this game, but it doesn't look like it's going to fullfill the hype its causing. And whats up with those cheezy B-Rated monsters??? The aliens in HALO2 have more style than this! ;)
I still prefer the 360 because it has the better games but this game does look alot of fun...A next gen Off Road. I would definaly pick this game up if I was getting a ps3. But this type of game says RUMBLE CONTROLLER all over it....to bad...oh well....still looks like fun.
$40 a year is nothing!!! Reading the article I thought they were going to say a month...but since the ps3 "supposedly" is more powerful than the xbox than u get what u paid for....just like $40 a year for a better online service ;)
This is nothing surprising. It's obvious that Microsoft forced Sony on getting a ps3 out as quick as possible. It really isn't looking to good with all the bad news the PS3 is getting. It would probably be a better move if they did delay the ps3 a lil longer so they can get it done right. But they cant let Microsoft have another Christmas or its over. With so many problems, I cant wait to see what kind of bugs this thing has when it does come out.
This is going to be a BIG game but only for PC. The amount of settings in this game is beyond what a console can do. I personally never liked playing it with regular weapons...Any UNREAl 2004 fans out here? You guys ever play "Instagib?"...my favorite way to play...plus you can control the speed, the amount of double jumps...This game definatly needs a keyboard!

You got 1 out of 2 right. MGS, made by Konami, has already been on the xbox and Halo, owned by Microsoft, will never be on PS...so your statement is half right!
I'm sure the graphics will be better but one of the main things that makes this game stand out is the level design. Perfectly balanced levels...You cant get better than a 4 vs 4 game on Lockout!!! I pick that over a 20 vs 20 game on a big map any day...just turns into a fragfest.
I love the new ideas of seeing the weapons carried on there back. A jetpack??? That is going to be different, we'll see how it works out. As long as it still has my stick gernades....love sticking peo...
They can keep MGS4, Xbox 360 already has tons of AAA exclusives coming...Splinter Cell is the better spy game...Next version is an xbox exclusive...MGS4 is just gonna dissappear in the wave of big name games coming from xbox 360!
People that hate HALO2 are just a bunch of noobs...Halo 2 can be such a intense game if played right...but people are used to charging and dying. And there is nothing more satisfying than getting a stick across map! ;)
