I'm glad that Microsoft was better planned on the 360 and gave the Dev. all the time they needed to come out with great games. The fans and customers deserve it. If I'm going to buy a $60 game, it better not be half ass and better be worthy of the system. Wow, if you think Motorstorm looks about 90% as good as its CG trailer than I lost all hope for the Sony boys! I'm a 360 guy, but I will admit Motorstorm looks like alot of fun and I would like to play it. But it's nowhere near that crazy cg trailer from E3. More like 50%. What stuck out on that trailer for me was the mud slapping the windshield in different ways. From the current ingame videos I seen, It has been replaced with a dirty effect on the windshield that doesn't look as impressive...
I think using a ps3 as a computer is okay if you just want to surf the web, but actually using computer applications like Microsoft Word is a terrible idea. It looks like the ps3 is more about surfing the web and playing blue ray movies than the actual games. The 360 has the better games and exclusives. It is a game console and thats what is most important!

If I can swap the HD for a 300-500 gig hd and download games directly into the hard drive like the old xbox...I'll buy a ps3 that day! It's pretty easy getting caught when u try to go online with it, but I wont use the ps3 for online. The 360 has the better online. CMON HACKERS!!!
You can transfer demos to a pc from a 360 aslong as they're not locked to your console or online account. I haven't had any problems with any demo yet.
Yeah it's pretty funny. One of the reasons why I like this site cuz I get a good laugh. When I read some of these posts...I thank my parents that they pushed me for a better education!

Well it could also mean that the 360 is just easier to develop than the ps3. This is not the first time something like this has happend. Call of Duty 3 is better on the 360. 30frames vs 60 frames. Games are being Delayed and cancelled. Makes me wonder whats really going on. Oh well, Going back to GOW :)

Call of Duty 2 for the 360, a launch title, got 9 or better. But just like Power of Green said, who cares about launch titles of 360 vs ps3s launch titles...that was the whole point of coming out a year early...to get better games out before the ps3 did...its all about the present...and I been playing my GOW on hardcore for awhile now (co-op online with my cousin)...oh by the way...GOW had better marks ;)
Sounds like everything I thought it was going to be from all the videos I seen. I knew it was going to be a fun game. 9.1 good? I dont know...we'll have to see more reviews...but again it was compared to Call of Duty or WWII with aliens. And the AI (just like in the vidoes shown) have been questionable...and it looks like I was right. But what sticks out for me is the 12-15 hours of gameplay...I thought this game was 20 gigs...GOW was getting thrashed cuz it only had about 8-10 hours of gam...
For certain games like Unreal 2004 it is better to play on a pc because a controller doesn't have enough buttons. But playing a game on a PC is just waaaaay to expensive...plus playing online with somebody with a better rig can be a disadvantage. The 360 has an equal playing field.
I have a friend who is a pc gamer and hates consoles...He was really good in counterstrike and unreal 2004...of course he has like a $200 laser gaming mouse...$200 gaming keyboard....wow...thats $400 ri...
The only thing that is highly overrated is EA! They shove simple roster updates to there madden games and other sports franchises and expect us to pay up. EAs best games are everything but innovative.
And whats up with all this GOW bashing??? Its a FANTASTIC game...It's getting great reviews! Why do you want to hate on a game that is deserving of the hype. Is it jealousy? Is there anger cuz your beloved ps3 doesn't have any games worthy to be GOWS equal? I see Gametime posted ...

I also think the 360 had a better line up for launch. Call of Duty 2, Condemed, Kameo, PGR3, and Perfect Dark Zero all had great to good reviews. None of these games ranked below a 8.
But to be fair, I would only buy 2 games right away...as long as there 2 good games than it would be worth it. I would pick up Call of Duty 3 and NBA 2k7.
