Dude your making it sound like its the second coming of Christ. It IS just a platformer. Every video uploaded so far has pretty much the same gameplay. The best levels I seen so far resemble some of the puzzles in old Sonic games. Been there done that. I can see people getting bored with this game pretty quickly.

Actually they also said not to talk about the horrendous loading and the long and boring movies. It's funny how other games don't get the same treatment. I know Mass Effect had points taking away because of the loading and that was only a fraction compared to MGS4.
The truth is that plasma is the perfect tv for gaming. The response time and colors are way better than lcd. BUT I do recommend to "break in" your plasma for the first 200 hours so you can age the phosphors right. I downloaded a special dvd online that portrays a solid color every 15 seconds. Yeah I agree. Especially after I heard Konami gave restrictions to the reviewers for their game MGS4. They pretty much said do not mention all the negatives. Once I heard that, I never looked at a review score the same.

Silly argument. Gears of War is about one thing. It's about KICKING ASS!!!!!!!!!! It's a game injected with a dose of steriods. It's a game that comes with a freaking chainsaw at the end of your gun. Only bad asses are allowed to play this game. No skinny sissy guys allowed.
Oh yes. The old "looks the same" defense. You sony boys need to find start using a new one because that doesn't work anymore. But of course Motorstorm 2 and Resistance 2 are graphically above and beyond their predecessors, right? A recent article said Resistance 2 looked like Halo 2. I have my issue of Game Informer here and they specifically say "it's leaps and bounds better graphically and gameplay wise."

I don't like how the Sammy's 120 mhz motion makes movies look. It makes it look "fake." Almost like a home movie. I watched the whole movie of Spiderman 3 on bluray with 120mhz on at 100% and I thought it looked like crap.
