Can't forget about Left 4 Dead. That will easily sell a million copies. The 360 just has this holiday season in the bag!
But they're adding to their overall 5 million console lead and that's what counts. The ps3 is not going to catch up if they're not winning every month. They have to win every single month for 2-3 years to catch up. This just sets them back more. Sony desperately needs another price cut or its over.
If anybody here remembers, Unreal 2004 had something similar for the PC and it was INSANELY FUN. When I heard that they added a Gears version I was completely ecstatic. I'll be spending most of my multiplayer nights playing Horde!!!

I think the problem is that we as a society are just used to the "lil" ones. We're used to watching the news and hearing about shootings and soldiers dying at war. Most of us probably just change the channel without a slight care that a soldier has died in Iraq or a suicide bomber killed 50 people at a crowded restaurant. Yes death happen all the times but we're talking about one specific event. What your talking about is not the same. Robberies, war, shootings, etc... are unfortunately very common. It probably happens every minute somewhere in this crazy world. Tell me what's worse: Creating a level of WW2's Holocaust and have tons of sack boys in gas chambers and gassing them or a level where your just shooting soldiers in WW2? See the difference?
Simple! If you own both consoles than you choose the 360 version. If you only own a ps3 than you just get the ps3 version. These DLC is usually for ones that own both consoles. I know a lot of my friends who own both consoles purchased the 360 version of GTA just for the DLC. And their are tons of die hard Tomb Raider fans that will easily pick the 360 version.

Will pick this up early next year. Just to many great games. Fable 2 is my most anticipated title for the 360 and Left 4 Dead looks like a winner. Gears 2 will pwn all of course. These 3 games will keep me busy for the rest of 2008.
Wrong. The game has about 50 hours of gameplay. If you did a speed run than it would be about 10-12 hours. For example a game like MGS4 has been clocked at 5 hours of gameplay if you rush everything. Speed runs are stupid. Why would you want to cheat yourself of the over all experience???
DUDE! I'm still way behind on my games. I just finally finished Orange Box. Believe it or not I might have to skip Gears 2 at least till December. Just way to many great games. Fable 2 will keep my busy for at least a straight month. Than my second most anticipated game Left 4 Dead will keep me happy for awhile. Fallout 3, Mirror's Edge, and Dead Space will have to wait till early next year.
A huge library of great games with an affordable price???? The 360 will win this holiday season no problem.

Well it all depends on the how soon and how powerful the next Xbox will be. The ps3 has talked a lot but hasn't delivered anything drastically different than what the 360 offers. Games are pretty much on par with each other. If the next Xbox comes out with games that absolutely destroy the competition than I'm sure the ps4 will come out sooner than later.
The whole Halo marketing argument is weak. So would you say the same thing about movies??? Do you think people watched Spiderman 3 because of the Burger King toys or the Spiderman drinks? Or do you think people watched it because...I don't know.... maybe because they like Spiderman or maybe they like action movies? Was the Titanic the best movie ever??? Well if it made over a billion dollars worldwide than I guess some people liked it, right?
I don't recall the first Halo ...
They only track the IP address. Meaning they don't count the guests played in Halo 3. I know my cousin has one 360 and he always plays with both his brothers on Live. That's 3 players but only counted as one. At this very moment their are 170k players playing Halo 3 online. While COD4 only has 50k. COD4 might have more individual IP address playing on Live but it never beats Halo 3 in players.
Only fanboys could spin this to a negative. Wow! I'm impressed.
