Great sales all around. The 360 really hit its mark in the end of 2010 with the release of Kinect most likely beaten both consoles in overall sales. The ps3 slim was fairly new and hot early 2010 that racked up the sales. I expect the same for early 2011 for the 360.
Pretty simple. When Heavenly Sword came out, it was one of ps3's first games to come out with pretty sweet visuals at the time. The ps3 had a huge slump in the beginning with only a small handful of games. So naturally, many picked up Heavenly Sword.
Enslaved came out with TONS of competition. I rented Enslaved and it has a great story. The gameplay mechanics need work. It was too easy.
Loved the recent Splinter Cell. Had a nice adult gritty tale. Hoping the next will continue this trend and add better multiplayer.
I love my 360 and love the whole achievements thing, but you might be right about me staying on the PC for awhile. At least for my multiplayer fix. I'll still be playing Halo Reach but will probably be retiring COD for this on my PC.
Well both consoles are starting to show their age. The 360 has been around for 5-6 years. Eventually some game is going to come out that just can't be done on a console and only on the PC. Just have to wait for the next generation of consoles that will come out in a few years to be able play sweet PC games of now. Just the way it goes.
But this game might be the first time since 2004 that I might build a gaming rig. This game is going to be insane.
If I'm not mistaken. Kinect was released sometime in early November. December sales alone were around 6 million. If that doesn't say success, I don't know what is.
I think they should wait up on the remake for the next Xbox. Halo Reach is as good as it gets right now. I don't see the remake of the first Halo being any difference in graphics from Reach.
Disagree. Halo Reach is not noob friendly. I dominate noobs with ease. You just need to get better if you're getting pwned by noobs.
What people don't realize is that Kinect is bringing a new audience and creating new hardcore players. I know some that have bought Kinect for the family with the usual Kinect games for the kids. Than went ahead and bought other games like Forza 3, COD, Gears, and Mass Effect. That's how it's done folks!
Very true. Sony fanboys always give their exclusives some slack. Just look at the mess with the whole Forza 3 vs. GT5. Before GT5 was out, sony fanboys would always show videos of Forza 3 glitches and talk about how bad the physics are..."Just wait to see how perfect GT5 is." Well not surprisingly, GT5 comes out with tons of physics hiccups and multiple problems yet they boast the game as perfection. Starting to believe these kids really don't believe what they say anymore....
There is a difference between speed runs and what that other guy did. Speed Runs are just bypassing everything. The Halo 2 speedrun on Legendary is pretty weak. I seen what he did. He pretty much found cracks in the level design and just skipped the entire level by going around it. The guy that beat the KZ3 was not a speed run.
It's gonna be exciting to see what Forza 4 could bring to the table. GT5 is out and many were disappointed. This is Turn 10's chance to really take the crown for good.
Damn, that's pretty epic. I love themes like this. I love how video games now have soundtracks that rival big box office movies.
Halo: Reach's graphics is pretty impressive considering how big the battlefields are. I can only think of a few games that have large battlefields like Reach and that is Battlefield BC and MAG. Well we all know that MAG looks like crap and BC looks pretty decent. Reach has some amazing visual no doubt.
What I appreciate is the level of creativity that the Halo universe has. The levels and villians just scream originality. Something most shooters can't say. Ever...
I only pay attention to the main sites that been around for awhile. Sites like Ign, 1up, Gamespot, Game informer, edge, gamepro, eurogamer, and gametrailers. Majority have been 8's. Which is a very good unbiased score.

Absolotely. The maps are great. This game is golden. At least on the 360. I can understand all the hatred coming from the sony side. It all started with Microsoft signing an exclusive deal for COD, than of course all the cheating on psn. To bad really, because this is such a rich experince.

Suprising to see how close Black OPS is on both consoles considering how gimped the ps3 version is.
Like Kalipekona just recently said, you must clearly be living in a fanboy world if you think this isn't on par with the best of the ps3. The textures in Gears 3 are more impressive and more sharp than the blur that plagues kz3.
