I guess both of you missed my original comment when I said "Every company reports shipped."
I remember an article before GT5 was launched that PD shipped an enormous amount of copies worldwide. Way more than your usual game. It's very possible that many of those copies are still in the shelves. The game wasn't in the top 10 to long. It dropped and almost disappeared pretty quickly. I'm going to get flamed for this with your predictable jabber but what I say is just the facts.
I hope you do realize that this is shipped. It's near impossible to try to figure out sold numbers. The numbers say it shipped 5.5 million in 12 days. Tell me, how in the hell did they know that much was sold to the consumer??? Are you telling me places like Best Buy, Gamestop, Amazon, etc... wasted energy and time in those 12 days to do inventory on just that one game just for the purpose of finding out how much was sold to the consumer? That's a meaningless stat that doesn'...
Disagree. Kinect does exactly what it was sent out to do and that's capture the casual crowd. Dance Central is not my cup of tea but guess what?... their is a big audience for games like this and Dance Central is the best their is. Families that own Kinect are loving the games that Kinect offer. Many Kinect games are easily selling over a million with Kinect Adventures getting close to 10 million copies. Has any game on the ps3 sold 10 million yet? What fanboys don't understand...

Killzone 3 was influenced by a lot but I don't see how those 2 games and KZ3 have any similarities.

Gaming journalists like IGN usually get a retail copy way before the release to review the game. Their reviews are legit. Not sure if these random no name sites get a full copy.

Yeah I never understood why they keep saying KZ3 is the best graphics ever. I guess I'm the only one that sees the low quality textures giving the whole game a blurry look.

Canceling Kameo 2 was a grave mistake. So much potential for a great franchise. Viva Pinata was also a unique and addicting game that many gamers enjoyed. What I can respect about the games Rare has made is that they stick with their creativity and uniqueness and not just make another dark war shooter
Divine, Agree. Rare has made great games after N64. Kameo is one of the best adventure games around and was very disappointed that they canceled it.

Pretty good list. Unreal 2004 was one my fav games of all time. Would of liked to see Battlefield 1942 there.

Not surprised. GT5 for any real non fanboy GT lover almost unanimously agree that GT5 is the worst of the franchise.
Have to give credit where credit is due. Turn 10 made a better game in half the time of GT5.
I said it before and I'll say it again, Forza 3 which is an year older than GT5 overall is the better game. Forza 4 which comes out this year will officially take the crown for best vehicle sim.
