If you bought it, you can still redownload it as many times as you want. They're just not selling it anymore. We'd be in the same situation if physical copies ended their print run.
And yes, we are moving to an all digital future. All doesn't mean "all or nothing." You can still buy LPs in 2018. That doesn't mean the majority of the population hasn't moved onto MP3s and streaming music.
BluRay/DVDs are still sold but have bee...
While he's right, he shouldn't be blasting a fellow internal studio like that. Bad form.
It says it right on the page. TLoUII is not in contention for most anticipated because it won the award last year. But yeah, it's clearly not coming out in 2018, especially after Druckmann said it's 50% complete.
It doesn't really matter how big the map is if there's nothing interesting to do in it. Second Son was a boring slog with a handful of uninteresting missions copy/pasted to every other district. Not to mention it's a pain in the ass to travel to places in most open-world games because even though you have a map with the exact location on it, you can't fast travel until you've been there once. I never understood that mechanic.
If it doesn't have kb/m support (I don't know, does it?), it can't have slick controls.
No one should have expected any surprises because we already knew what every 1st party studio was/is working on as well as 3rd party partners. There couldn't be any surprises because they're already busy working on games we know about. 2018 and 2019 are going to be ridiculous for PS4 gamers. With the way the development cycle has gone for Sony 1st party so far, once every game comes out, they can all start working on PS5 games for a crazy launch.
If all you want is power then go build a PC. Everything you can get on the XB is available for PC too.
MS doesn't spend as much as Sony on game ads because they have no games to advertise.
Those are a lot of downvotes but will that translate into a significant loss in sales? If not, it could get 400k downvotes and it wouldn't matter if people still buy the game.
"Retake" intimates that they once had a lead, lost it, and could take it once again. The XB1 was never in front at any point in time. When all is said and done, the Switch will be in 2nd with the XB1(X) in 3rd.
Not to mention, MS is hoping for 1 XB1X sold for every 5 regular XB1's. They aren't going to make up a 35 million gap like that.
Yeah I know that but people here are mad that the guy said it's the worst place to play it when it's a fact. It's sub 720p resolution and running at 30fps. A fast, fluid 60fps game at 30fps is a major compromise.
Don't know why you're all mad about the truth. It is the worst place to play it IF you have access to any other platform. If you only have a Switch, then it's the best place for you.
The trailer showed the exact tone of the game we'll be getting. It was also incredibly ballsy of them to put out a trailer that doesn't have Ellie or Joel in it. It also hints at possibly making alliances with other factions to fight the greater threat. It also shows there's a cult-like faction (possibly fireflies) that could be just as worse as the infected. It also showed how bat-shit crazy it's going to look. It also showed that this world finally has Asians in it. It also ...
That would make the game even more expensive. It's already $10 more. Add in empty usable space and it goes up further.
No thanks. I don't want to sit there watching talking heads come on stage and talk about their game awkwardly or hold awkward live demos (a few done by the actual game dev is fine). Trailer after trailer with minimal to no talking is the best way to show the world the content you have coming in the future.
There's nothing worse (of course there are) than listening to people on stage trying to sound cool and saying one-liners that aren't funny at all. Just watch ...
Of course video game violence should be associated with maturity. It's a mature topic. I find it weird when people say, "Violence isn't needed to be mature. In fact it's immature to show violence." Really? When someone gets stabbed, sliced, shot, burned, etc...in the real world, awful things happen as a result. Showing those awful things is reality. "But this is a game" you say. Yeah it's a game grounded in reality as much as a game can be.
Probably because no one bought gravity Rush 2 and no one played tomorrow children and kill strain?
Flagship phones have been more expensive than consoles for a long time now. Even phones like the Nexus 5x were more expensive than PS4/XB1.
Making waves eh?
I thought buying (timed) exclusives wasn't something MS did according to the blowhard mouthpiece execs, contrary to heaps of evidence.
