Gotta admit. I tried COD4 on the DS and hated it. The controls sucked. Like any game, there was a learning curve. After a couple of hours...I started to get the hang of the controls. Eventually I was actually able to appreciate the deep work put into the little DS title. n-Space is a stellar developer.
Obviously a console experience is better. Yet, I can definetely say I enjoyed the capaign's on COD4(DS). Didn't expect much, so I was pleasantly surprised.
What about people who could just care less about the series? I don't "hate" the zelda franchise. Yet nothing about the series appeals to me. Also, link is a sluggish character in S.SMBros. I like fox instead. I'm into the fantasy stuff and sci-fi too...but I just find Zelda not appealing to "me".

Absolutely. I own both 2D and 3D sonic games. Sonic&Knuckles and...Sonic Unleashed. The 2D games were way more challenging and I hated the fact my speed was halted by those blasted animal insect thingys.
I definetely perfer a boost button in Sonic Unleashed over the tedious spin dashes. Generally more fun in my opinion. Its the sense of speed that the whole franchise is about. Sonic Advanced 3 got the job done as well.

I dunno...maybe more diverse genres? Don't need some overbearing support of rpg's or platformers, but some more games like James Bond: Everything or Nothing, Jak 3, Time Splitters, Kingdom Hearts, Spiderman 2, and Z.O.E would be awesome.

Absolutely. My main focus is the mysterious Time Travelers game, and the Inazuma Eleven series. Screw boring Layton. I want something I can sink my teeth into. How many Layton games have released US-wide? How many Inazuma Eleven titles? Also, those flocking to the Layton series are casual gamers in my eyes(bleh). Had enough of that crap on my DSlite. Now I own a 3DS expecting more core titles. Time to save up for my inevitable PSV...

Maybe it's cuz I'm easter culture appeals to me more than western. I can still balance my shooters with my ARPGs/fighters(KH/Tekken), but something about creating a feriocious combo on your opponent makes gets me excited. Probably from watching power rangers instead of GiJoe80s. Yup. Must be it. Ninjas/Martial artists are cooler to me than army men.

Anyways. There's such a minimal hardcore market on the wii because "Nintendo" was the one who pushed for that market. To release those games would create a market that doesn't line-up with their casual trash. I mean seriously? Have any of thsoe CEO's ever walked into the Wii section at a Gamestop? Ugh.

I don't own a Wii(for obvious reasons), but these 3 games(XenoBlade/Pandora's Tower/The Last Story) plus No More Heroes, Sonic Colours, Conduit 2, Red Steel 2, and Mad World are good enough reasons to shell out $150. Of course, I'd just buy Wii U(IF...its under $400)
