$500 minimum for each. More likely $600
Now's the time to buy for $10
I think theoretically both these consoles are capable of 4k and 120fps and some form of non native 8k upscaling. But I'm just hoping we can finally get 4k @60fps across the board. I'm really tired of 30fps. Higher framerates are more important than resolution too me.
Lag and artifacting in a controlled environment.
Streaming isn't a gaming future I'm looking forward to.
Crimsonpheonix you're delusional, the internet in America is horrendous. There are far less people without good internet than there are with good internet. And let's not forget data caps.
You cant compare games streamed to videos streamed. It's not even in the same relm.
Anything streaming only is doa.
Data caps will kill stadia and anything that follows.
Free to play and without couch coop, itll never take on d4. It cant even go up against d3.
Exactly. I've said forever, I dont understand why consoles are held to this $399 price point. $600 is fine with me. People drop 1k-2k on phones every couple years like its nothing.
They'll both be $599
I'd gladly pay $600 for ps5 and nextbox.
The $400 model is limiting the potential of consoles.
For the life of a console that roughly $100 a year for entertainment. I dont know of any other activity that gives that amount of entertainment for that price per year.
Day 1. I loved playing wildlands coop.
I'd bet it's a 500gb ssd or less possibly with a partition designed specifically to reserve space for the os. And the rest for accessing game data instantly. But will come with a swappable hdd 1tb for the games to sit on.
Games will be built around those specs for offloading to the ssd anything it instantly needs access to. But the game itself will sit on a standard hdd.
While the switch is great it's also underpowered and has a low resolution screen. Once the wow factor wore off sales slowed. They need a redesign to bring it inline with base x1 and close to base ps4 specs with a 1080p screen.
Smh... really?...
$600 holiday 2020. Itll be worth every penny. Average cell phones cost 1k, why are console restricted to some lowball number that impedes technological advancements and true generational leaps in fidelity.
Itll be $600
People should hate this. Itll ruin games forever if it catches on.
This will end up worse than anything ms was thinking of with the original concept of xbox one. You'll own absolutely nothing and more n more games will be a garbage, nickle and dime free to play model.
You'll pay more to play but own less.
Not to mention the downgrade in quality.
No it doesnt.
A huge part of this game for me is claptrap.
My favorite character in the game suddenly having a different voice really is going to be disappointing.
