The only way consoles survive is increasing the price to include better hardware.

This entire generation has been a coast.
By far the most underwhelming generation in gaming history imo.
The market for consoles just like games, is completely over saturated.
Too many companies fighting for a limited number of buyers. While ps5 is selling far better than xbox, its also stagnet, sales aren't increasing gen over gen.
This imo is a direct result of younger gamers playing on phones and tablets or whatever device can access the fortnight model of game. Kids n teens are less likely to ask for a console anymore. Console sales have peaked.
Love them or hate them, xbox is leading in bc and games availability.
Now we need cross progression and play between platforms for all games.
Single player games aren't dead and never will be. Crap games pushing an agenda should be.

This generation is just getting started, release have been so few and far between.
Id like to see ps6 and nextbox 2030 but also with a higher price. $800 consoles would really push technology forward.

Yea but they're still bigger than ps and nintendo combined. Ms is basically like the housing or banking market. "Too big to fail". Xbox isn't going anywhere. I'm not an xbox fan anymore but I really think they're poised to come out on top next gen.

Base ps4 at most. Not ps5, not even ps4 pro.
6 hrs in and its a great game. Give it a chance, its everything that was great about the 360/ps3 era rpg's and nothing that's bad about the modern rpg.
