@DarkAstronaut

If I'm not mistaken, the only country in Europe that was announced that the PS4 is outselling the X1 4:1 was in Germany. Germany is not all of Europe.

Probably get LBP3 when it's £10-£15. No rush.

"PS4 vs. Xbox One: Who Won 2014?"

In my opinion PC won... and that's the opinion that matters.

Maybe the author of this article expected Microsoft to do for D4 the same marketing campaign Activision does for Call of Duty... millions and millions of dollars in adds.

D4 is a niche downloadable title... this phrase resumes it all.

Microsoft is "offering" the game with Gold to see if gamers like the game, and then maybe develop the next episode if they find it justifiable ($$$).

If Microsoft brings all their X1 exclusives to PC, then what's the point of having a X1?

I can't believe so many people disagreed with me for saying Witcher 2 was the best game offered.
I guess the other games "offered" by Microsoft/Sony are better. /s

Stupidity of fanboys is amazing to watch. LOL.

Somehow I knew this article was going to pop up sooner or later...

As for the games "offered" on Gold/PS+, the best game without a doubt is The Witcher 2.

As for the games "offered" on Gold/PS+ for X1/PS4, D4 or inFAMOUS First Light/Swapper? ... hum... take your pick.

Good list, but, my two most anticipated indies for 2015 aren't on that list: Pillars of Eternity and Satellite Reign (I loved the original Syndicate).

"Desperate. \s Great deal. "

Nop. This is for a Sony console so it's a good deal. If this was for a Microsoft console, then they would be desperate. /s

When Microsoft does it, they are desperate. When Sony does it, it's a great deal.

The stupidity of fanboys amazes me.

Well, if they keep the game exclusive to PS4, then it's Ninja Theory's loss. I think it's a very bad business decision like all 3rd party exclusives. They only help the console manufacturer where the 3rd party exclusive launches, not the developer... but what the hell do I know.

As for Hellblade, if the game is good, then I'll purchase it. Simple as that.

@kayoss, FunAndGun

Let's get something strait. PS+ is a renting service. You don't keep the games. You need to renew your PS+ account if you want to continue playing those games later on. With the 50€ I wasted on PS+, I could purchase a bunch of games at Steam / Origin / HumbleBundle / gamesKeys /other sales, games that I actually choose and want to purchase (not games that someone else chose for me)... and I keep those games forever, no subscription needed.
...

If the WiiU sales don't improve, Nintendo will probably launch a new console in 3-4 years.

I only got a PS4, so NO, I did not get my money's worth from PS+.

4061d ago 2 agree21 disagreeView comment

Yep, congrats to Sony.

I know it's early in this gaming generation, but I don't think the X1 or WiiU will have a chance to compete with the PS4 in WW sales. The PS4 will sell more then the X1 and WiiU sales combined.

Edge was heavily criticised last gen by Sony fanboys. I guess now they are bending over for Sony fanboys. LBP3 (more like LBP 2.5) doesn't deserve to be in the top 10 games of the year.

Games like Wasteland 2 and Divinity Original Sin would easily be in my top 10 of the year...
