@mikeslemonade
Did you forget to take you meds today?
As for EA's conference, yep, it wasn't very good.
I didn't see Nintendo's conference.
"Forza Motorsport 6 Ditches Microtransactions
According to Turn 10, all 450 cars are available at launch on disc."
That's very good news. If only other developers would follow suit...
A new console game is expensive (60-70€), so enough with the crap microtransactions.
I have to agree. Sony has no exclusive that I'm interested for the rest of 2015.
Since I play multiplats on PC, my PS4 is going to rest for quite some time. It's going to be a long wait for March 2016 (Uncharted 4).
Probably get a X1 bundle for Christmas, and put it next to my PC and PS4.
The problem with Sony's E3 is that a lot of those games are for 2017 and beyond.
FF7, Shenmue 3, Horizon: Zero Dawn, etc...
@subtenko
Seriously! That is a bad example that clearly you didn't think through. *shakes head*
Sony showed more multiplatform titles on their conference then exclusives.
My rating for E3 conferences:
Bethesda ___ 7.5
Microsoft ___ 8
Sony _______ 8.5
Ubisoft _____ 6
EA _________ 5.5
Nintendo ____ didn't see it
PC _________ unfortunately didn't see this conference
Both Microsoft and Sony had good conferences. Curious about Microsoft's conference in August at Gamescom.
So PC gamers get Killer Instinct and Street Fighter 5.
Console only gamers must be thinking... "What the hell is going on"
LOL
I hope AMD brings good graphic cards to compete with Nvidia. Nvidia are overpricing their graphic cards, so we need competition.
Vita is dead. Some people just haven't realised it, yet.
Microsoft could follow Sony's idea. Ask gamers in general what games they want to see on the Xbox? Games that would attract owners of other consoles in purchasing a Xbox?
Don't get me wrong, Halo, Forza, Gears, etc are great series... but they mostly interest Xbox fans. A Sony or Nintendo fan probably wouldn't be interest in a Xbox to simply play those games.
I just mentioned something a few minutes back:
Beyond Good and Evil 2 would probably be a ...
Hey Microsoft, this is a excellent opportunity to come in, finance the game and make it exclusive. It's a game that a lot of people are interested in and with the right developer behind it, it could sell consoles. Take the example of Shenmue 3 or FF7...
... unfortunately, the people behind Microsoft aren't smart enough to do it. They prefer investing billions in Minecraft and Kinect.
BTW: What happened to that E3 Microsoft/SilentHill rumour?
Quite a few 3rd party exclusives for PS4... and another one from Square.
Microsoft wasted so much money on Minecraft, instead of investing on 3rd party games or new studios. I don't think Microsoft will ever recover those 2,5 billion spent on Minecraft.
Microsoft need to work harder and better if they want to improve X1 sales.
@Fries1223
"dream list for a gamer"
That's YOUR opinion.
If someone disagrees with you... are they automatically wrong?
I've seen 100's of opinion pieces on N4G that I disagree with. Are they wrong and I'm right?
@JoGam
"Its a title to start some flame war"
No it's not. It's his opinion that Microsoft had a superior E3 conference. You can disagree with it, but doesn't mean you are ...
@tjg59
Yes, Thief PS3 version was on PS+.
It would be interesting to know if the X360 version will be compatible with the X1 in the future.
Both Microsoft/Sony could offer the X1/PS4 version of the game by now with their online paid service.
This is a opinion piece... and people are reporting the article simply because they have a different opinion.
LOL
Do you expect Last Guardian, FF7 or Horizon for 2016?
Even Shenmue 3 I doubt it will release on 2016 (in spite of what the kickstarter page claims).
There is one big difference between Microsoft's and Sony's conferences.
Microsoft makes a conference to attract and please mostly xbox fans.
Sony makes a conference to attract and please everyone (or the majority).
For me, XCOM 2 will probably be one of the games of the show...
Last Guardian didn't impress me, FF7 (it's a remake, so not sure about this) and Shenmue 3 (never played a Shenmue game). Interesting, but not really that hyped for those games.
What impressed me the most from the Sony conference was Horizon by Guerrilla Games. Uncharted 4 also delivered.
Now... the BAD part about the conference (as was mentioned in this article): Since I normally play multiplats on the PC, it's disappointing that Sony has absolut...
Curious about this one...
