EXCLUSIVE means that a company PAYS A DEVELOPER to keep their game OUT of other platforms and exclusive to THEIRS. Simple as that.
Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft do it.

Sony did the same thing with the PSP, and they're doing the same thing with the PS Vita. So what's your point? ... or are you that blind that didn't notice it?
Basically, if a product is not successful, the manufacture stop supporting it sooner or later. Simple as that.
The original Xbox wasn't successful, in spite of being a much better piece of hardware then the PS2... but PS2 had the games and that's what counts.

Exclusives (or timed in this case) sell consoles. Exclusives get more hyped up. Being a exclusive it will get more publicity by Microsoft. Being a exclusive it will sell more copies on the X1 then if it was multiplatform.

Maybe they should have brought those games to E3 and Gamescom, since they had average conferences. Keeping them for TGS is a bad idea, home consoles hardly sell in Japan.

Quantum Break was the game that impresses me the most at Gamescom.
This is probably for people like me. I really don't like playing FPS's on consoles with a gamepad. I much prefer KB/Mouse... in spite of connecting a KB/Mouse to this device being a challenge. I expect they will improve their software in the future.

I still remember a few years back when Final Fantasy 13 was announced as mutiplatform, fanboys made a petition to make it exclusive to PS3.
