Nah, I disagree with your statement about Gears....remember Gears was designed to be a small squad based tactical shooter, the gameplay is fast and fun, yeah of course not having 100 enimies on the screen at the same time helps the presentation(duh) but at the same time you can't knock a game and all the great things it achieved since it was designed that way....I think "some" look for excuses to discredit Gears because it surpassed everything we had seen before. I respect your opinion Thwip but I disagree. I don't think you can say this is how the graphic's will look or that that they won't improve much based on this Beta, and I think the "beta" looks good but this is about testing the gameplay and online, its 5 months away and from the looks of the video it definitely looks like alot of fun. I'm not a big GTA fan, but I still don't see what they said in the OXM interview that can be called a "let down"? I don't think you will find very many people to buy any console just to play one (1) game. Are you OK, Bladestar?....Either way for gamers who like GTA series it sounds like they are going to make a great game on both consoles, isn't that all that matters?
WOW....predictable, I knew it....I saw the headline and just like most of you I knew it was filled with hundred's of people arguing over which "videogame" console is better at "folding". -SAD. or am I wrong 'cause I only read the first 10 or so. All I will say is that if they implement this on the 360 then thats good for those who choose to do it, if they don't then the worlds not going to end. -Either way I don't care if the 360 can "beat" PS3 in folding.
+1 also remember Core owners have the option to upgrade at anytime, and I wouldn't be surprised if M$ offers a incentive deal (cheaper) on the 20gig HDD or even a smaller version just so Core users can upgrade easily so if dev's begin to utilize the HDD the option is available for users who are interested.....and yes there are some folks who only need or can afford a Core but its a small minority, most Cores were sold at launch because the supply was low for the demand so alot of people broug...

Kill the Core! The smartest thing M$ can do is kill the Core. Yeah, I know there is a very small market for the Core because some don't have internet and its more affordable but it limits the dev's who would otherwise utilize it for developing a few specific games with the HDD in mind. I've already heard of M$ entertaining the idea of dev's using the HDD, I think we will see this in the future. Kill the Core!

Well I own both games, PGR3 is really good....but so far the Forza2 demo is gettin some serious test time on my part, Forza's graphics in my opinion are a little better than PGR3, both games are eye catching on my 50" Sony plasma, although some cars/angles in Forza2 makes some cars look a little too shiny on the hoods but overall so far Forza2 is just a much deeper game.
