I disagree with this so much, GTA IV was a major disappointment for me.
I'm a PC gamer and I agree. This is only an issue for games that need the fluidity. I'd gladly sacrifice my FPS for better visuals, physics, and gameplay.

I honestly don't get why so many gamers hate Origin. Does it matter who gets your money? Just buy games if you like games. No need for all this senseless political nonsense over video games. If the game looks fun to you buy it.
Hell, at least people can play the games they buy through origin offline. Steam has to connect to the internet just to start offline mode.
Because PC gamers actually buy good games. Look at Alan Wake, LA Noire, and Dark Souls for examples of games they PC gamers wanted. And look at how well they have sold.
Some very notable companies are missing from that image. Maybe they are working on other projects and letting the system release before they commit to anything and spend money on it.
Bit dramatic. Only way this could hurt gaming is if they actually launch with this; and PEOPLE BUY IT. If the people who are bitching right now still end up buying the console; then yea. It makes it seem like a viable option for other companies to do similar.
