I may be in the minority but I prefer the less vibrant colours & the higher possibility of burn-in kills it for me, plus I like the design of the new Vita much more.
That's just me though.
As an aside, it's a shame they couldn't use the added memory differently.
This is sad & has happened on both sides.
Zelda:WW HD & X (future title) look really REALLY good, but come on.
I don't mind 1080p 30FPS, as long as it's constant.
I can tell the difference between resolutions, but I can't tell the difference between 30 & 60 FPS as much.
obviously for fighters, racers & whatever other genre 60fps is considered "standard/necessary" then yes there should be no excuse.
But for RPG's & the like, I wouldn't hold it against devs if they targeted a constant 30FPS so that they can use the space...
PLEASE tell me that's with the new 2k model of the Vita.
I will snatch it up asap if so.
Stop with these silly articles, telling people not to buy consoles on a gaming website.
It's all subjective anyway, both have great launch titles for different people.
Power of the cloud, knew it was coming.
PS4's specs are much higher, it's not a small gap.
I wouldn't call this a complete attack, since it's via their Facebook page, so it's not visible to everyone, infact the only reason many are seeing it now is because it's being reported on.
It's not like a boat with Playstation logos was right outside of the Xbox event.
I'm guessing they'll get higher numbers than PS4 launch, considering they're launching in far more places on day one.
Makes sense & if it doesn't, I'll be surprised.
As for the event, if they're having a Killer Instinct tournament, it'll probably end up being a blast for the people there.
Halo 5 will be there probably, unless they're saving it for later events.
900p (though that Cryengine does wonders) & dipping below 30fps quite a lot.
Next gen has arrived.
Looking forward to it, I hope they put some decent polish into it.
Mobile isn't the future, they're different markets.
I dislike Major Nelson, not genuine at all.

Comes off as a snake oil saleman.
The reason they pulled so many 180's was because the pre-orders weren't favourable to them at all.
People said we wouldn't even be able to tell the difference between 720p & 1080p, but even this is noticeable.
No surprise there, Polygon were funded near a million by MS.
Wouldn't it be more logical then, to lock it at 60 & use the extra resources (however small) on more effects, etc?
Yoshida already mentioned in an interview that they need Nintendo in the industry.
Seems a bit overblown since this is the first gen we have a large amount of social media.
Those firmware updates can't come soon enough.
Of course they had no choice, they need that advertising feedback data so that their console becomes profitable.
Already been talked about how they initially planned to collect data to see how you react to advertisements.
It's a gold mine.
