I don't count interactive cut-scenes as gameplay though. I'm still not a fan of QTEs as it is but I've grown accustomed to them through god of war and I think it was properly implemented in The Last of US. I guess I am biased though, I'm not a fan of Quantic Dream, never have been. They have great concepts and awesome ideas, they're just poorly executed in my opinion. And they think way to highly of themselves. I can't stand even listening to David Cage talk, he annoys...

This is true, I wasn't even sure if you were gonna pick up on a controller on this game because I know you hate stealth games, but after watching me play for like 2 days straight and walking outta the room at the end because you wanted to start your own game and experience it yourself really says something. Now you're almost done with your second play-through, couldn't be more proud.
Now they just need to find a way to incorporate co-op...
I wish they would include a co-op mode where I could play as Joel and my girlfriend could play as Ellie, that would be f*ing EPIC!!
She adores this game just as much as I do and we take turns watching each other play, this would be perfect if we could both play sections together
Back off him, I totally respect his thoughts on game ratings. Everybody throws 10s at any new AAA title anymore and it gets redundant and hard to actually find the ones that deserve them. Nowadays it's not even 10/10 scores because 1-5 are never used, it's just a 5 point system in disguise. Right now a 7 in the industry is what the average gamer would consider not even really worth checking out when realistically that would make it better than average.

I agree. Joel's not an action hero and I like how it doesn't just let you always go in guns blazing and clear out every room. It makes for more strategy and planning. There are only certain times when I actually feel that guns are a viable method as a first choice. They're usually reserved for when I blunder something up and get rushed or backed into a corner! lmao
The loading screen at the beginning bothered me when I first booted it up, but then I realized that that's the ONLY loading screen I encounter through the whole game and it's fine with me. I'd rather have one like that before I even start it than a bunch of them throughout the experience. Especially in a game as immersive as this..
I bought it brand new, there are only certain games for me that I actually do that with because $60 is just way too much to spend on any game that comes out, I usually do it just to stand behind and support games that in my opinion deserve it.
