That's an excellent point, I've never been a trophy hunter so I didn't even think about that. Plus then we'd see a rise in crap game sales just because they've got easy trophies and what-not, not to mention people that would exploit the system. Yeah, on second thought that probably wouldn't work at all. Cool thought though, for a fleeting moment. lol
Yeah, from what I've seen I'm hoping this will be different. I've read a few things where people got hands-on at E3 though and they weren't too thrilled with the control schemes and whatnot. I'm not trying to bash it or anything, it does look really clean and polished and the story definitely has me intrigued. I just hope that I actually feel like I'm contributing to what's going on in game, that's all.
That would definitely be cool, if they added into your wallet. Even if it was only like .50 cents for a plat, .25 for gold, a dime for silver and a penny for bronze. It would still be a cool concept.

I just got accepted into the PS3 beta last night, took forever to download, so I just did it overnight while I was sleeping finally got done downloading earlier today and PHASE 3 IS OVER!!! Killin' me!! lol
It took so long I didn't think I'd get in anyways, at least the open beta is right around the corner. I wanna play this game, it looks like a TRUE Final Fantasy game. I got turned off after XIII, but I have faith in this one. I can't wait to get my hands on...
You do realize that it costs money to create that experience though right? Some peoples lively hood depends on this kind of stuff. This is their job, this is how they bring dinner home to their families.
Yes it is like a demo, but you still have the option to just get the full game instead. It's a choice dude, you don't gotta buy one character at a time if you don't want to. If you don't want to play it with one character before you buy it then don't, plain and simple. It's just an option, which is a good thing.

Nice, I'm definitely gonna have to get this! The first one still has a soft spot for me, 'cause I remember when it first came out. I've got a LOT of catching up to do on this series and I think this is the perfect opportunity to do so.

I'm not a trophy hunter, if a game is good enough for me to play through multiple times then I try to get trophies for extra incentive to play but I don't typically go out of my way to get them. I damn sure just get a game trying to get the trophies, that thought has and will never crossed my mind.

You can't just lump open world into one category though. It's not a genre, it's a playing field. Not all games work with open worlds, I'll give you that. But not all games need to have corridors either. It's how they utilize the world and whether they actually fill it up with things rather than huge boring expanses that make the difference.
