The PS4 has keyboard & mouse support, and they are starting to bring over some PC games, ie. Warframe, War Thunder, Outlast, Planetside 2, among others. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Everquest Next as well...
It's free on Plus now, downloading it as we speak :D
Edit: I'm in NA though, not sure when this applies to other locations...
It's been fine for me, I've been streaming gameplay and everything, I'm typing this on my PS4 right now :D
I'm sure the servers are gettin' hit hard right now from all over the world, it'll all get sorted out soon enough
Is it September? Been a long couple of weeks, couldn't remember. Well, at least That's better than November :p
Me and my girlfriend are both having a lot of fun with this game, both the single player and co-op. I just wish the screen would pan out a little in co-op so both of us had more room before the second player goes out of screen, but that's a minor gripe.
Haters gonna hate
I can't wait to dive into this universe! Sucks it's not coming out until November, but that gives 'em time to make it that much better. It's weird to me that there's not more hype around this game..
personally, I had more fun playing GUN on the ps2 than I did playing Red Dead on the ps3. Just couldn't get into it.
It's something that still needs time though, this is not something that's gonna get shoved down our throats, it's just not viable. Yes, in the future, the possibilities are endless (hopefully), in the meantime it still isn't a sensationalist headline game-changer. Baby steps people, bandwidth directly screws this theory, until we can overcome faulty connections and slow internet speeds this is never gonna be the end-all be-all of anything. Yes it does help, and yes there are c...
There are a couple of things in here that I'm hoping might imply local co-op. This is a feature that I'm really crossing my fingers on with this game. My girlfriend HATES first person shooters, but she loved borderlands and it was a blast playing it with her..
"I’ll be engaged in a dangerous mission with a Fireteam assembled in my immediate vicinity. I like to keep my friends close. Lukems tells us that we’ll need to collaborate if we are to outsmart his endgame ...
Borderlands is great for me, my girlfriend absolutely hates first person shooters.. She loves this game, and being able to play this game with her in local co-op makes it so much better. I love both games, but the first one really sealed the deal
Luckily I don't have to choose because I have a gamer girlfriend, so I get the best of both worlds :D
This one was stupid, I used to watch the VGAs (before they put an X at the end of it), honestly stopped watching it when The Last of Us lost out to GTA5. If this industry is to progress then anything with the number 5 after it should not get top honors. That's just my opinion though, and I understand everybody doesn't feel the same way, but still..
I was not amused with the release date myself as this is one of my most anticipated titles, but I want them to be able to make this what I want it to be so I'm willing to wait it out. All I ask is PLEASE give me local co-op, that would make this game perfect for me and how I play with my wifey. That's one of the things that makes Borderlands so special to me, local co-op, I need more of that in my life..
In the meantime, here's a little breakdown of some of the n...
Gonna have to check this out, love me some local co-op!
@mikeslemonade
It's not always about having a "collectors" mentality though, games are still fun even if they're old. Shit, I just bought a backwards compatible PS3 a couple months ago on craigslist for $200, and I'm having a blast playing through some of my old favorite games :D
Yeah, but bad publicity or not it still sold over 100,00 copies in the first two days in the US alone. It also outsold Super Mario 3D world in the UK, I know the PS4 has a much higher install base than the Wii U, but sales are sales.
and yeah, I do agree about the demo
I've been watching people stream it on twitch.tv and they're all having a blast with it. It's fun even watching them play and chatting with them. The co-op looks entertaining as well.
Sign me up!
It's the same for me and my girlfriend. We love playing this game together! :)
Savage Starlight? :D I wish
