They're going to patch in the ability to use the Dualshock 4 with it, so I think that'll open up the ability to play more of the Vita games because of the Touchpad. The only reason it only supports DS3 right now is because it released in Japan and they don't have DS4 over there yet. I want to get one really bad, I hope they announce a Western release date soon!!
I know that, but I'd rather be pressing a physical button for a game that was made with buttons in mind. I'd rather push a trigger than tap on the back of it..

Either way, that's a huge sum of the world population that just got open to console makers. It's a damn good place to test the waters as far as statistics go, even if 75% of the population resisted and 25% were feeling rebellious (for lack of btter term) that would still amount to 54, 227,702.5 consoles sold. The pros definately outweigh the cons with Plus, I never let my subscription run out and it's not 'cause I feel forced into it. I genuinely like the service and I don't want it to run out. It offers so much more than what it's trying to tell you that you need it for, seriously. Just in games and discounts alone it makes its price in 2 months tops. They actually give back instead of just taking.

The only weird thing to me is that they didn't include L2/R2 into the mix. No reason not to, especially since it has second controller functionality. I figured the new version would have included dual triggers. Maybe the next one they announce at E3? Fingers crossed...
Hardware is where it's at, end of story. Streaming is a cool feature, but there're so many limitations and variables. With hardware you insert whatever thing the game happens to be on at the time and it works, you don't have to worry about weird internet connections or anything it's all done right there in the machine and it works. Physical isn't going to die, I wish people would drop that theory. Digital is a good alternative, but it's not taking over any time soon. ...

I like shooters, just not military shooters. I think the point I was trying to get at, is that I don't mind having human adversaries, as long as it's not in a military setting... that and I hate the government and am overprotective of my family :D

My comment was obviously taken out of context, I was just being a rolling my eyes at everyone comparing any game in a fantasy medieval setting to demon's souls. Wasn't meant to be took literally. There used to be a ton of games in this setting (which I enjoy), as long as they aren't straight trying to rip off what someone else is doing I don't see the big deal. Similar styles with different formulas.

I've honestly never owned a copy of Call of Duty or Battlefield and I've never cried myself to sleep over it. I don't like military shooters, it is what it is. I'd rather play a game than get trained for the army or whatever. I'd rather shoot aliens than people flying flags.. Don't get me wrong though, if I catch you in my house I'd put a hole in you and feed you to my dog, I just hate the war, political pawn stuff, I'm not a puppet.
PS1&2 had soo much diversity when it came to games, I hope they really get serious about opening up their backlog.
