The price for what you got at the time of the PS3 launch was actually a steal, even Sony's bluray players were still $1000 back then. It was more marketing and messaging mishaps, especially the "get a second job" thing taken out of context.
The gaming media and fans alike are pretty much in agreement that it's a fantastic game. Sure, it won't be for everybody, nothing ever is but for the people it 'clicks' with or those willing to invest the time it's an absolute blast.
There's always room for improvement but this is one of my favorite games this gen so far.

There was an update earlier for the headset companion app, I was hoping they were going to add Monster Hunter to the dedicated game list but it was just adding support for this new headset. It's weird they only have 7 games with specific audio. I love my Platinums and the 3d audio is cool but my Golds were way more comfortable.
It's funny, me and the wife were just talking about this game when we were out eating earlier. She was sceptical (pissed) at the change of direction at the initial reveal (she loves all the old GOW games) but the more she's seen and the closer it gets the more excited she is. I just won't tell her about the lack of a jump button. Lol

They've mentioned exploration and rewarding going off the beaten path on this one, so maybe they're hidden or tied to some sort of sidequests or something.

It's not just Destiny players it's just gamers in general. One word though, content, plain and simple, and Monster Hunter is absolutely full of it.
Its a great game and refreshing to have so much to do in a game without the B.S. bleed you dry monetization tactics so many games are trying to pursue right now. This is gonna be a bomb year.

No. I love my PS4 but this game should be enjoyed by everyone. Sony has enough in house studios for true exclusives.

I'm definitely going to get the Aloy armor set but in all honesty I'm probably not going to use it because it'll be way under leveled like the Palico armor anyways. It's just a fun extra, seriously, there's so much content in this game it's crazy.
There is a helmet option you can turn off but I don't know if it'll affect this because it changes your whole appearance.

I'm not a millennial and I hate the direction EA has taken the gaming industry. I've been gaming a long time and seen them slowly manipulate and twist it around. Battlefront was just the tip of the iceberg, they've been working on getting this into mainstraim games for a long time now. They eased it in last gen with "cosmetic only" or other superficial crap that was widely accepted, now major publishers everywhere see where the real money is and...

Same here. We know it's in the works, they keep talking about it, I just want to see the official reveal. Really hoping they keep split screen and don't screw it up.
