I'm just gonna wait until GT5. I'm not gonna pay half price to play less then half of a full game. It's a little on the pricy side. I also think this prolouge only confuses the general gaming population. Just come out with another small demo and then realease the final product. As a PS fan, I'm not toooo stoked on this whole idea.

keep quiet about price cuts. If they didn't, people would wait and current sales would decline.
but still feel that if Sony can lower the price to 399/400 then they should. That would pretty much put them into a pricing point that an average consumer will start to look at. I have plenty of friends that are PS whores and all of them are waiting for a price reduction. A lot of the PS2 fanbase will move over if they do something like this.
is right. It's one of the main reasons I, along with many others, won't ever go to PC gaming. There's always the need to update. That and the fact that they aren't as convenient. I would much rather sit in my leather chair and use a controller then sit infront of a computer.
While this is a step in the right direction, I seriously doubt PC's will become as large as consoles in the next 10 years. Consoles themselves are becoming more like PC's anyway.

EA plans on the average consumer not caring about such things. Most people won't even notice a difference between the two versions and they know it. EA puts out a lot of games and cares less about the quality. It's their business model and it works well for them. Recently, they screwed up a 360 game too.

An xbox 360 would be the cheaper of the options.
I only use it to surf the net and the GF uses it for homework. I would just grab a 360 again.
