The PS3 cannot upscale. You should know this. I'm sure you've criticized the PS3 for this as well. Rightly so too. However, had the game not been 1080p, you wouldn't be able to play it at that resolution. My brother wouldn't be able to play the game in 1080i on his 1080i/480 TV. Sigma is 1080p, 60fps with full self shadowing. Some of you guys are really grasping at straws here.

I've had tons of fun throughout all gens but, this gen has left me with a dropped jaw at some of the stuff that's come out and is coming out. Gears is awesome, Heavenly Sword is amazing, Drakes Fortune, Mass Effect and even motorstorm. There's just so much going on in these games now a days. Amazing physics, graphics and fun gameplay also. It's a good time to be a gamer no matter what console you're on.
O well ... I'll see it when I get home. This game is going to be in my library. I need me some good RPG action to hold me over until FFXII. Next year is going to be heavy on the pocket book. lol
M$ is claiming BEST EVER. This is total BS. Firstly, the NES is probably the best. Followed by the PS2. One could argue that both are pretty equal. I don't care if you think the 360 has an awsome lineup (it does) ... it doesn't come close to being the best ever. The other thing about this, it's all subjective. What you think is a good line-up other mind find sub-par. This comment is about as bad as some of the Sony treasures said back in 05'

this all started because some a$$hat started talking crap about the cell. He was criticising the PS3 and this game for not running in 1080p. While I don't think Halo should have been brought up, it wasn't PS fans that started this crap.
Dude ... pull your head out man. The PS3 doesn't upscale games. It's one of it's flaws. This does mean though that a game that runs in 1080p runs at that resolution natively. Get your facts straight if you want to try and trash something. You're only making yourself look like a tool.
won't upscale games from 720 to 1080i/p, it's nice for people with older TV's. At least this way they can view the game in HD instead of a downscaled 480.

On a sidenote, the TV should be awesome. I remember articles on here about this around a year ago. Those TV's were only an inch thick or so. They weren't too big though. Probably a computer moniter size. I wonder when this tech will be available enough for the average person to be able to afford a 42' screen ...
I love this movie. I don't know how it would be for a video game though. The ROUS's could be interesting.

these guys want to miss the Christmas deadline. PS3 price drop, xmas sales, and no competition from Halo on the PS3 means the best sales this game is going to get in a short time. I sure hope they can pull it off.
