just goes to show how uninformed these "video games are the devil" bandwagon people are. Still ... making things like this known and, putting labels on the box shifts responsibility to where it belongs, on the parent and end user.
Implement whatever procedures and policies you want as long as it helps take some heat of the games themselves. Something like this puts more responsibility on the seller of the game and the parent of the child who's playing.
that's one of the things I don't like about paying for added content. It splits to community. Game like COD4 and RFOM had enough of a user-base to make it work. still ... I remember not being able to find large matches in RFOM when the map-pack was released.

one would be skeptical of LBP selling tons. Mostly beacuse the game needs to be marketed to the masses in order for them to know what is going on. Sack boys aren't enough alone. They need to really push the create and share aspects of the game. This is obvious since you're trying to compare it to Halo's foundry which is 1/1000th the freedom that LBP gives you.
KZ2 has just as much of a chance to sell as Alan Wake does. Neither of the titles are proven. Not much is known about eit...
GG does a good job at not letting anyone know anything about anything. I do admit that since there has been NO new info since the last build that we saw, doubt has started to creep in me.
Here's to hoping we get just as wow'ed sometime this year as we did last year. Toss us a bone Sony and GG. Pretty please with sugar on top.
Just because the rumored dates aren't confirmed to be official does not mean the game will come out in 2009. I understand that there is a chance since no one has a clue about anything since last year. Still ... I have faith. By the time the game is supposed to come out, they will have another 1.5 years of dev time from the last build that we saw.
LOTR trilogy, Matrix trilogy, Bourne Trilogy and Starwars Saga. It would be nice to see some Transformers too. If those hit this Christmas, I'm going to be broke. There's a lot of games coming out that I need then too.
Edit: I have no idea when the would actually hit. It's just sort of inevitable that they will hit.
They're expecting the brunt of BD players will be PS3 for quite some time. I think everyone is.
That doesn't mean that everyone of those people will have HDTV's though. Still ... with each passing year, more and more people adopt HD technology.
It would be nice to see a price drop and a little more advertising though. It should be an interesting Christmas for BD. TV deals are usually at their best and, PS3 should be flying off the shelves.
